Corona Virus and the lockdown has turned our lives completely upside down. We all are experiencing major differences in our lives. From going out for partying to now lying down in pyjamas the whole day, our lives have changed. Even our education system has changed a lot. School kids and college students are being taught online through video conference calls and I think this is a great effort on the part of the teachers to teach us even at this time when we are dealing with a global pandemic.

An online class is very different from attending class in a classroom, the difference is quite evident. Honestly, I find offline classes more interesting as there is a good deal of interaction between the students and teacher, being with friends is a bonus we all love. Online classes, on the other hand, are pretty relaxed but internet issues can cause a good amount of trouble. But in this hour, online classes are a saviour as our syllabus is being covered efficiently through it.

If I was given a choice to opt for online classes after this lockdown, I won’t choose it because even though it has a lot of advantages, I prefer physical interaction with the teacher over a video call anytime.

My parents like this online class schedule more than me as now they can hear and see what goes on during these classes and I also get to hear their amazing college stories.

Now that the lockdown is extended, our exams are postponed with no information about when they will take place. Teachers are making sure that we are atleast through with our assignments so that they can mark us accordingly. Our assignments have also been changed from hard copy to soft copy and also, we are required to send a video presentation on the assigned topic. I like this quarantine version of the projects and I really like the way teachers are handling this situation and we students are also working hard so that no matter what, our studies don’t get affected.

Because of the postponement of exams and lockdown, there is plenty of leisure time available in our hands. I love having this leisure time as I indulge in all my hobbies that I was missing on during my busy college schedule. I love to paint, read novels and cook and most of my leisure time goes into it. It feels good to be productive at this time, helps as a distraction from all the negativity going on around the world. We all should use this time to indulge in good habits because we will never get this time back when we can save the world by just staying in our homes and taking care of ourselves.

Stay at home, stay safe and take care!

Hi...

CUET‑UG 2025 exams were held between May and June.

Results came out in early July 2025.

After results, universities run admissions/counselling (seat‑allotment, document verification, fee payment, etc.).

Because of that — classes typically begin a few weeks to 1–2 months after result declaration,
