Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria to join the Postgraduate program in management for executives for the year 2020-21 are as follows,

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor degree or its equivalent with 50 per cent aggregate marks or its equivalent CGPA cores.

The candidate should possess a valid GMAT or GRE score.

The candidate should have completed 25 years as on March 31, 2020.

A minimum of four years of full-time work experience after completion of graduation is a must to apply for the executive MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview at IIMA.

For the PGPX program for the year 2020-21, the candidates will be chosen in two rounds. The last date to submit the completed application for round was August 27 while the round two the last date to submit the applications is October 24.

Application and selection process

The aspirants are required to apply online for the EMBA degree at IIM Ahmedabad. An application fee of Rs. 2,000 along with GST is to be paid by the candidate at the time of submitting the online application with the help of net banking, credit card or debit card. The selection of students is a two-step process which involves shortlisting the candidates and making the final selection process.

a.Shortlisting the candidates

IIM Ahmedabad will shortlist the candidates on the basis of their CAT scores for the exams taken within the last three years or the GMAT/ GRE scores for the exams taken within the last 5 years.

b.Selection criteria

All the shortlisted candidates can participate in the final selection round. The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at the IIMA campus or in other cities as decided by the institute. Professional experience of the candidate after completing graduation will also play a major role in confirming their admission.

The last date of uploading the completed application form is 10^th of August. The university will announce the list of shortlisted candidates by the month of September. Personal interviews and the final selection process will be scheduled between the month of September and October. The students will be intimated on the offer by the end of October 2019. The program will begin by the month of April 2020.

Fee structure

The total program fee payable by the students is Rs 20 lakh, excluding GST. The program fee is payable in six installments. Of this, Rs 3.5 lakh has to be paid in the first five installments and Rs 2.5 lakh will have to be paid in the sixth installment. Students have to bear other additional costs such as personal expenses, boarding charges, travel, laptop and laundry.
