How to Fill TISSNET Application Form

TISSNET 2024 registration is expected to commence in second week of December 2023. Candidates will be able to apply for new registration or complete the application form on or before the last date. TISSNET Application Form

Tata Institute of Social Sciences will release the TISSNET application form 2024 online. Candidates will be able to fill the TISS application form 2024 tentatively till last week of January 2024. Aspirants can check the step-by-step guide to fill the TISSNET application form 2024. Candidates will be required to create the login credentials to fill the application form and pay the TISSNET 2024 application fee. Candidates belonging to the reserved category can avail of concession on the registration fee by uploading the necessary documents. Applicants must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

TISSNET 2024 exam will be conducted in last week of February 2024 in CBT mode.

Steps by Step Guide to Fill TISSNET Application Form 2024

Candidates filling the TISSNET 2024 application form must check the steps to fill the registration form. Candidates must ensure to keep the required documents ready before filling the application form. Check the complete guide for filling the TISSNET application form 2024 below:

Step 1- Visit the official website- appln.tiss.edu

Step 2- Create login credentials

Click on the tab ‘New Registration’ and enter the details to create login credentials. Candidates must enter the details like email id, and other details to verify the email address.  

Candidates will receive the ‘TISS Admission Registration Link’ on their registered email address. Click on the link provided and set the password for future logins.

Step 3- Login

After setting the new password, page will pop up the notification regarding the validation of email address.

Click on the tab ‘Login’ and enter the email id, password and captcha code to login.

Step 4- Instructions to fill application form

The page will now display the instructions to fill TISSNET 2024 application form. The registration is a five steps process. Candidates must complete the five steps for successful registration. After completion of each step the page displays the progress/status of the application filled.

Step 5- Enter the basic details

In this step, candidates must enter the following details to complete the first step to completion of application form:

• Personal details
• Category (if applicable)
• TISSNET exam centre selection
• Contact details

After entering the above details, click on the tab ‘save’ and preview the details entered.

Step 6- Enter Academic Details

Candidates must now enter their educational details to complete this step of the process. Candidates must enter the following details:

• 10^th and 12^th education
• Bachelor’s degree details
• Master’s degree details (if applicable)

After entering the details, save the information entered and proceed to next step.

Step 7- Upload Documents

Candidates must upload digital or scanned copies of the required documents. Candidates must attach the file. Aspirants must ensure that the digital documents are in the prescribed size and format. The ‘attachment type’ dropdown will list the documents. Select the document to be uploaded. Candidates can remove/edit the file if wrongly attached.

Instructions to upload photograph:

• The passport-size photo must be recent and coloured, taken against a plain background.
• The photograph must show the face and shoulder only.
• Photographs should not show any other object.
• If a photograph is found to be inappropriate candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Step 8- Enter programme details

• In this step applicants must now enter the programme details they wish to apply for. Candidates must note that they can apply for a maximum of three programmes from two locations.
• The table will show the programmes that the candidate will select.

Step 9- Preview the application form

Before proceeding to the payment of the application fee, candidates must final preview the TISSNET 2024 application form. After verifying the details, click on the tab ‘final confirmation’

Step 10- Application Fee Payment

Page will now display the status of the process. Pay the application fee by clicking on the mode of payment. Candidate can pay either through cash or in online mode.

In case candidates want to pay by cash they must click on ‘cash’ and then ‘view challan’. The page will display the deposit challan. Candidates must print the challan and pay the cash amount in the specified SBI branch. After getting the copy of the challan candidate must visit the page (displayed below) again and click on the tab ‘add SBI challan number and upload TISS copy of challan’
