1. Master of Business Administration (MBA)

No. of MBA Seats at TSM: The number of seats for the Master of Business Administration course is 120. Of that, 60 are selected from TANCET exam results and the other 60 are selected from CAT or MAT or XAT or other management related entrance exams.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria: Applicants for admission to the MBA program must hold a bachelor’s from any recognised University or authority. For the admission through TANCET exam, students are selected directly based on the percentage scored in the TANCET exam. For admission through other entrance exams, students are selected based on the cumulative marks of percentage scored in entrance exams, group discussions and personal interviews.

MBA Course Curriculum: The MBA program is divided into six trimesters extended for over two years, including a compulsory summer internship at the completion of the first year. Practical or hands-on experience is the best path ahead for business students, hence design projects and research studies are an important part of the course. Certain management support and commitment programmes allow students to build contact with professional managers and get first-hand experience of how corporations operate, how day-to-day activities are managed and how problems are solved in the real world.

MBA Fees in TSM: The total fee to be paid is INR 9.2 lakhs, which includes tuition fees, hostel & mess fees, study material and other expenses. As this is a residential program, hostel and mess fee is mandatory for all.

2. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM):

Course Curriculum of PGDM: PGDM program is for two years, including a three-month summer internship after the completion of the first year. TSM evaluates the design, content, and delivery of courses offered on a regular basis to ensure that they remain relevant and updated.

3. Twinning program of Post Graduate Certificate in Management & Master of Science (PGCM + MS):

Thiagarajar School of Management provides a wonderful chance to study in the United States. This one-of-a-kind Collaborative Education Agreement allows Indian students to pursue a 1+1 Dual Degree. Students will receive a full-time MS degree from the University of Michigan – Dearborn (USA) or the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, depending on the specialisation. In addition, Thiagarajar School of Management will award these students a Post Graduate Certificate in Management. Eligibility and Selection Criteria for PGCM at TSM: Applicants for admission to the program must have completed a Bachelor’s degree and have an outstanding academic record. On the basis of their entrance exam results, past academic achievement, and relevant job experience, shortlisted candidates are called for the group discussion, personal interview and written ability test. The candidates' written, verbal, and cognitive skills are also be taken into consideration during the personal interview round. Candidates are selected based on a combination of factors including admission test results, past academic qualifications, suitable job experience, and competence in the aforementioned tests.

Fee for PGCM:

Tuition fee varies from INR 33 lakhs to INR 38 lakhs depending on the University chosen to study.

4. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Thiagarajar School of Management provides a PhD program that equips master’s degree holders for challenging research opportunities beyond academia. Alagappa University is associated with the PhD program. For those interested in a career in education, business, or research, TSM offers a PhD degree in management. PhD is offered in Accounts & Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Marketing & Strategy, and Operations & Supply Chain Management to candidates. The Dean of the Doctoral Programme assigns researchers to supervisors, considering the interest in the research of the scholars and managers.

Eligibility and Selection criteria for PhD: Applicants with the first division in postgraduate degree in management or a related field are eligible to apply for the PhD program. The Faculty Selection Board suggests the names of applicants considered eligible for admission based on their academic performance and achievements in the examination and discussion. The candidates are accepted to the PhD program after receiving permission from the Director, subject to formal confirmation by Alagappa University.

PGCM Fee at TSM:

For a full-time PhD course, the total fee is INR 30,000 per year, which includes library access and study material. For part-time PhD courses, the total fee to be paid is INR 60,000 per year, which includes library access and study material as same as full-time courses.

5. Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science and Business Analytics (PG DSBA):

Thiagarajar School of Management provides a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science and Business Analytics (PG-DSBA) to upskill experienced professionals and graduate students who want to pursue a career in the field of business analytics.
