Memory based XAT 2023 answer keys

XAT 2023 exam was held on January 8 from 2 PM to 5:30 PM. The official XAT 2023 Question Paper and Answer Key PDF download will start most likely from January 10. The official XAT 2023 answer key and response sheet will contain question wise correct answers and candidate’s response.

XAT 2023 exam was of moderate difficulty level. Overall, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation section of the XAT question paper 2023 was the toughest. It was dominated by Arithmetic and there was on DI set.

Q:   Does XLRI Jamshedpur accept the XAT scores?
A:

Yes, XLRI Jamshedpur accepts XAT scores for admission to PGDM programmes. Candidates can also apply with a valid socre in GMAT/ GRE for PGDM GM programme. Those who score equal or above XAT cutoff is selected for further rounds. Selected candidates are further called for group discussion and/ or personal interview. 

Q:   Is solving XAT question paper helpful in exam preparation?
A:

Yes, solving XAT question paper is of immense help in exam preparation as one can get an idea of the exam pattern, difficulty level of the questions, and learn time management. The XAT question papers of previous years also give you an idea of what type of questions (Reading Comprehension passages and poem) are asked in XAT. In fact, preparation of Decision Making section is totally dependent on XAT question papers. XAT question papers of previous years also act as practice test providing you with the opportunity to master speed and time management.

Candidates must solve previous years’ XAT questions paper of at least last five years, so that they are aware of the latest type of questions especially poem, RC passages and Decision Making passages.

Q:   Can I get into XLRI with 90 percentile in XAT?
A:

Xavier School of Management cut off for XAT has been released as a selection criteria to appear for the PI round. As per the official cutoff data released by XLRI, the overall sectional XAT cut off 2025 for Male engineers is 96 percentile for Business Management (BM) programme and 95 percentile for Human Resource Management (HRM) programme. The XAT 2025 cut offs for Female engineers is 91 percentile for BM programme and 90 percentile for HRM programme. 

So basis the recently released sectional XAT cutoff 2025, it is difficult to get into XLRI with 90 percentile for General AI category students.

Among all the sections, the QA-DI section was slightly tougher. Overall the paper was of moderate difficulty.
