It is important to know if you have understood how to apply the theory or concept on a mathematical or reasoning question you read.

MAH CET Preparation 2026: Practice Mock Test in Next Two Months

Once you’ve completed the MAH CET syllabus, the next step to practice application of the knowledge you gained. Start solving sample paper series and MBA CET mock tests. Practice about 25-30 MAH CET mock tests. This will prepare you for the 150-minute marathon test without even a bio-break.

  • All MBA entrance exams are speed based tests and all you need to do is practice as much as you can. Practicing numerous sample paper and mock tests not only give you the exposure of a variety of questions but also make you discover shortcut tricks in solving them faster.
  • Attempt full-length as well as sectional mock tests to practice time bound performance. There is no sectional time limit in MAH MBA CET, so the candidates have to be very careful of not spending too much time on a particular section at the cost of another.
  • After attempting every mock, analyse your performance. Check the time taken in solving a question equally and accuracy achieved in each question. This will give you an insight into which type of question and which topics of MBA CET are your strength area. You can capitalize on these strong areas in the main exam.
  • The weak areas that you will discover through practice of sample papers, will allow you to change the preparation strategy well in time. Go back to those topics and study them once again. You may have missed a fundamental aspect earlier. Don’t worry, study again or consult with your mentor.
Q:   How can I prepare for MAH MBA CET?
A:

MAH MBA CET preparation can be done in two ways – 1. Join a coaching institute 2. Prepare by self study. If you choose the former, you will get complete guidance from the teachers and mentors, but if you choose the later, you will have to be your own guide. Self study will require a lot more discipline and dedication. Take simple yet impactful steps. First of all, check the exam syllabus and see how much time you will require to cover the topics. If you are already familiar with the topics included in the MAH MBA CET syllabus, you will be able to have an estimation of the time required.

Ideally, you should start MAH MBA CET preparation about nine months in advance. That will give you an ample time to understand and master the topics included in the syllabus through theory and practice questions. Join online study groups for problem solving and doubt clearing. Staying in contact with peers will keep you motivated for preparation.

Q:   What is the difficulty level of MAH MBA CET?
A:

MAH MBA CET is a moderately difficult exam. It’s difficulty level is lower than CAT but higher than MAT or ATMA. A major factor that makes MAH CET a difficult test to crack is that the questions are presented in random order and sectional weightage vary in every slot. So, candidates cannot anticipate or plan how many and which type of questions to get to their target score.

Also, the MAH MBA CET is dominated by Logical Reasoning questions and there are comparatively less Quantitative Aptitude questions. Since, there is no set pattern, candidates cannot pre-plan. They need to make a strategy and implement it as soon as they see the question paper. So, those who can think on their feet and can crack the exam better than others.

Q:   In which section of MAH MBA CET can I score maximum?
A:

It is tough to say that as there is no set pattern of sectional weightage in MAH CET anymore. Since the last two years, the number of questions for each section of the exam, varies for every slot. Meaning that, if in one slot there are 75 questions on LR and 25 AR, in the second slot there can be 60 questions on LR and 40 questions on AR. Similarly, there could be 50 questions on QA in one slot but in the next slot it could be 40. The total number of questions remain 200 in all the slots but the sectional weightage changes. So, one can really not prepare for the exam with the target of scoring maximum in a particular section. They need to prepare for all sections as any section can have maximum questions and the potential to score maximum.

MAH CET Preparation 2026: Thorough Revision in the Last Month

In the last few days, about a fortnight, devote time in revision and some more practice of mock tests. This is important because there a wide range of formulae and theorem that you need to remember in the exam to solve QA questions. If you can’t recall a formula correctly you cannot solve the question.

Devote one to two hours daily in thorough revision of all the formulae, theorems, concepts, definition, shortcut trick, etc. you may need in the exam. Attempt a two to four full length MAH CET Mock Test to keep the flow going. The time management skill that you may have developed previously will be tested now. Practice how to utilize the 150 minutes optimally.
