KMAT answer key 2026 will be available on the KMAT India website if released. The answer key will be available after the exam is conducted. The exam conducting authorities, KPPGCA, do not usually release the KMAT answer key, but if it is released, it will be available online at the candidate portal. The KMAT 2026 exam will likely be held in the first week of September 2026. Generally, the KMAT answer key mentions the correct options for each question asked in the KMAT question paper. There is no provision to challenge the KMAT answer key. Candidates can cross-verify their answers if the answer key is released. How is KMAT Answer Key useful?
Following are some of the benefits of the KMAT answer key 2026:
- Students taking the KMAT 2026 exam will be able to get correct answers for the questions they have attempted
- They can calculate total marks for their correct attempts in the KMAT exam
- They can report discrepancies for the KMAT question paper or answer key such as incorrect questions, incorrect options, etc.

How to Calculate KMAT Score 2026?
The KMAT answer key will contain the questions and correct answers against each question. Check the KMAT marking scheme below:
- For each right answer, one mark is awarded to the student and for each wrong answer one mark is deducted
- No score is awarded for unanswered questions
Given below is an example of how to calculate the KMAT score with the help of the KMAT answer key.
Suppose in the QA section the student attempted 20 questions out of 40. Out of 20, 15 answers are right and five are wrong. So, the score in the QA section will be 15X1-5= 10. So out of 40 marks in QA the score is 10.
Calculate the raw score of all the sections of KMAT in a similar manner and add them to arrive at the overall score.

KMAT is a Home Based Online Remote Proctored Test comprising 120 MCQs. These MCQs are spread and divided ino four sections of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Quantitative Ability; Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. The test is to be completed in 120 minutes without any sectional time limit. The candidate is allowed to switch from one section to other within the overall time limit.
General requirements for MBA admission in Karnataka that accept KMAT scores are:
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor degree or an equivalent in any discipline from a recongised university with a minimum CGPA of 50% or equivalent aggregate
- Karnataka MBA schools take into account KMAT result; such students must match KMAT cutoff of the participating college
