KMAT counselling 2026: KPPGCA will not conduct any centralized KMAT counselling process. But, the colleges accepting KMAT scores 2026 will conduct counselling for admission to MBA programme. Students should know that once the KMAT cut off 2026 is announced, students will be called for the counselling rounds at the participating colleges. Multiple counselling sessions will be conducted for qualified candidates. KMAT results 2026 will likely be announced in the last week of September 2026. KMAT Counselling 2026 Highlights
The following are a few highlights of the KMAT counselling process 2026:
- The KMAT counselling procedure starts after the declaration of KMAT results
- The KMAT counselling process includes two rounds; Group Discussion and Personal Interview which are conducted according to the individual institutes' schedule
- Colleges accepting KMAT scores release their respective merit list of the selected candidates who match the KMAT cutoff criteria
For admission through KMAT, students should choose 1 preferred participating institute when filling the KMAT application form 2026. The selection process for KMAT participating colleges can be different, as every college has its own cutoff.

KMAT 2026 Counselling Process
- A merit list is prepared by each participating institute after the KMAT result declaration. Candidates are shortlisted according to the cutoff released. This merit list has the name of the students who have matched the cutoff and are selected for the further selection process which includes the GD/PI round.
- Candidates will have to visit the counselling centre as per the schedule where the GD/PI rounds will be held
- On the basis of the KMAT 2026 score and GD/PI scores, a final merit list will be released of the selected candidates and they will be called for document verification and then the qualified candidates will be offered final admission

The KMAT counselling is conducted in online as well as offline mode. Candidates who have qualified for KMAT exam must register themselves online through the official website. However, the Personal Interview WAT/GD and document verification round under the counselling process is held offline at the designated helpline centres.
