Karnataka Management Aptitude Test is a popular MBA entrance exam. The KMAT exam is a gateway for admission to the top MBA colleges in the state of Karnataka and is conducted in ten cities. This year too, the KMAT exam will be conducted in the home based remote proctored mode, so, the candidates do not have to visit the exam centre, and they can take the exam from home.

How to Choose KMAT Test Centre?

Candidates will be allotted the KMAT exam centre in the city as per their preference. Check out the steps below to know how to select the preferred test city in KMAT 2025 application form.

Candidates need to register themselves on the official website of KMAT
After successful registration, candidates need to fill in the KMAT application form using their login credentials
Choose one preferred test city
Candidates can choose only one test centre while filling out the KMAT 2025 application form
Candidates must select the test centre carefully as they will have only one choice
Fill up the entire form, pay the application fee and finally and click 'Submit'

Q: How can I select the KMAT exam centre while filling the KMAT application form?

During the KMAT registration process, candidates need to select their KMAT exam centre. The candidates can choose only one KMAT exam centre for the KMAT exam centre allotment. Candidates should choose the test centre according their preference, as it cannot be changed after the KMAT exam application form submission. Follow the steps mentioned below to know how to select the KMAT exam centre:

Register on the official website of KMAT.
Login to the candidate portal and fill the rest of the KMAT application form
Under the 'test centre' tab, choose the preferred test city.

Q: How many test centres can I choose for KMAT?

Candidates can choose only one KMAT test city according to their preference. Candidates must very carefully select the cities as once the KMAT application form is submitted, they can't change city preference. They should choose the first city of preference as their hometome or where they are residing as the exam authorities will likely allot the test centres to candidates in their first city of preference. Candidates should know that the KMAT test cities cannot be changed once the form is submitted even during the form correction window.

Q: Can I change my exam centre after the admit card has been issued for KMAT?

No, candidates cannot make any changes once the KMAT application form has been submitted and the admit card has been issued. Candidates can however, contact the exam conducing authorities if they find any error in the KMAT admit card. Having said that, KMAT exam conducting authorities reserve the right to modify, add or combine any test centre/s if required.

KMAT Exam Centre 2025: Important Points to Remember

Following are a few important points to remember about the KMAT exam centre:

Test centre details such as name, venue, etc. will be mentioned on the KMAT admit card 2025
Candidates cannot change their test centres once the KMAT 2025 application form has been submitted
The exam conducting authority, KPPGCA, holds the right to modify or cancel any exam centre
Candidates must reach the KMAT test centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam

A verification process will be conducted at every KMAT exam centre, hence candidates must make sure that they reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam starts along with their KMAT admit card and a photo identity proof. Dos

Candidates must carry a printed KMAT admit card to the exam centre as it is a very important document without which candidates cannot enter the exam hall
Digital or soft copies of the KMAT admit card will not be accepted
Candidates must affix the same photograph on the KMAT admit card which was uploaded in the KMAT application form
Candidates must carry a photo ID proof (original and photocopy) such as Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhar Card, Passport, Ration Card, etc. and two recent passport size coloured photographs for identification purpose
Candidates must cooperate with the exam staff in identification and frisking at the exam centre

Don’ts

Do not carry any electronic gadgets to the exam centre such as mobile, laptop, calculator, etc.
No candidate will be allowed to enter once the exam starts
Candidates must not carry any eatables or drinks inside the exam centre. They are prohibited inside the exam hall
Candidates must also not carry any stationery to the exam centre except a ballpoint pen, HB pencil and eraser

KMAT Exam Cities 2025

KMAT 2025 will be held in as many as 10 test cities in Karnataka. The test centre allotted to candidates for KMAT exam will be mentioned on KMAT 2025 admit card. Check the list of cities for the KMAT 2025 exam along with the address.
