KMAT cutoff 2026 is likely to be released in the last week of September 2026, after the KMAT results are out. KMAT results, along with the cutoff, can be expected anytime soon, as the KMAT exam is complete as of September 20, 2026. Once the results are out, the KMAT exam conducting authority will share the list of students shortlisted for the next round. For each of the participating institutes, the KMAT cutoff can be different. These cutoffs are used to offer admissions into various PG programs. Candidates need to check the KMAT passing marks along with the KMAT cutoff and then apply for the college according to their rank. If students do not fall under the college cutoff criteria, they will not be offered admission.

Factors Determining KMAT Cutoff 2026
It is very important to have KMAT passing marks to be considered for admission into colleges; however, meeting the KMAT cutoff is equally important. Every year, the KMAT cutoff changes for each institute. KMAT cutoff determining factors are:

KMAT result 2026 is expected to be released in the second week of September 2026 for Session 1 exam.
Students must note that only clearing the exam does not guarantee admission to the colleges accepting KMAT scores. After the declaration of KMAT results, students who clear the KMAT cutoff will be called for the further selection process. Students will be offered admissions based on overall performance in all selection rounds.

Based on KMAT 2026 scores, the participating colleges will shortlist the students based on their respective KMAT cutoffs. Selected students have to appear for GD and PI for final admission. The final selection will be based on the following:

No, the KMAT Karnataka result is not sent through post. Candidates are required to check their results online on the official website of KMAT India. To check and download the KMAT Karnataka results, candidates who appeared for the exam can use their login credentials, i.e. Roll Number and Password and login to the candidate portal. There will be no offline communication for the KMAT result.

As per the information on the web, the closing rank for GM category in 2025 was 11442 in round 3. So, yes candidate can pursue MCA from NIE Mysore. The chances may be low, because the priority is given to candidate with higher ranks.

Kerala KMAT I a medium difficulty level exam. The test is designed in such a way that candidates are tested on the English, Reasoning, Quantitative and GK knowledge. 3-4 months of preparation is enough to crack this exam.
