TISSNET is a computer based test. The question paper of TISSNET consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The TISSNET question paper is divided into three sections viz., English proficiency, Mathematical and Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. The question paper will consist of total 100 objective type questions. Candidates will have to attempt the question within the given time duration. TISSNET is conducted for a duration of 100 minutes/ 1 hour 40 minutes. Check the table below to know the devision of TISSNET questions and marking:

As per the TISSNET 2023 analysis, TISSNET English Proficiency section consisted of 30 questions similar to last year. This section was dominated by Fill in the Blanks questions. There were no questions from Analogy, Onw Word Substitution and Idioms. The questions were easy from two Para jumbles. Tjis section also consisted of two reading comprehensions which were a mix of factual and inferential questions. The questions were easy to attempt hence, candidates must have got most of questions answered correct. 20-22 marks in this section was a good score. This section covered the questions from the following areas: Para jumbles, Fill in the Blanks, Summary, Spot the Errors, Synonyms, and Reading Comprehension.

TISSNET mock test is released soon after the release of notification. Candidates preparing for the TISSNET exam must appear for the mock test to assess their preparation levels. To appear for the TISSNET mock test candidates must follow the steps mentioned: Step 1- Visit the official website of TISS (admissions (dot)tiss (dot)edu) Step 2- Click on TISSNET tab Step 3- Screen will now display the details about the PG entrance test Step 4- Click on the tab displaying TISSNET Mock Test 2024' Step 5- Enter the TISSNET login credentials created at the time of registration Step 6- The screen will now display the general instructions to take TISSNET mock test and the steps to navigate Step 7- Next screen will display the exam pattern and important instructions for exam Step 8- After reading important instructions, proceed to take the mock test Step 9- The timer starts to take the mock test. TISS National Entrance Test TISSNET 2024 will be conducted tentatively in last week of February 2024. Candidates preparing for the TISSNET exam must ensure to fill the application form when released. Only candidates who will fill the complete application form along with the payment of the application fee will be able to appear for the TISSNET exam. TISSNET exam is conducted in offline mode across 40 exam cities in India. Candidates will be alloted the exam centre on the basis of the preferences added in the application form.
