Strengthen Your Basics and Key Concepts: This is the most important strategy to be adopted if a student wants to crack TISSNET, or for that matter, any exam. It is all about basics. If they are strong, difficult questions will also seem easier to solve. While preparing for the Mathematics section, aspirants should make sure that all the formulae, theories, etc. are on their fingertips. Similarly, while preparing for English,  they must build a strong reading habit to improve grammar, vocabulary and comprehension skills. Candidates who are already preparing for CAT, XAT, SNAP and other MBA entrance exams, can easily cover the TISSNET syllabus in three months.

Set daily timetable:  Since TISSNET candidates should plan the day according to the sectional preparation. The timetable should be set in such a way that not only would they prepare each section, but would get enough practice as well. Jotting down the important dates, events, awards, awardees, etc., and revising them are key factors for preparing this section. This section is all about the mathematics that you studied in school.

To get admission to TISS, candidates need to first clear TISSNET. After the results are announced, the qualified candidates are required to appear for Pre-Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI).
