IPU CET 2020 application for BPT, BSc Nursing and MPT programmes will conclude on August 11, 2020 (tomorrow). The conducting body has started inviting applications from March 3, 2020. Earlier the last date to apply was July 31 but the conducting body, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasth University (GGSIPU), has extended the deadline till August 11, 2020.

IPU CET 2020 application for BPT, BSc Nursing and MPT programmes will conclude on August 11, 2020 (today). The conducting body has started inviting applications from March 3, 2020. Earlier the last date to apply was July 31 but the conducting body, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasth University (GGSIPU), has extended the deadline till August 11, 2020. The University will conduct the national level entrance exams for many other UG and PG level programmes.

About IPU CET 2020 BPT, BSc Nursing and MPT

The national level entrance exam will be held to facilitate admissions to BPT, BSc Nursing and MPT courses along with many other Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses. Below are the details of the three programmes offered by GGSIPU.

IPU CET BPT 2020

IPU CET BPT 2020 is a national level common entrance test to facilitate the admissions in undergraduate level programme in Physiotherapy. The conducting body GGSIPU offers 30 seats in different disciplines. The CET code for the BPT programme is 124. Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Physiotherapy, New Delhi and ISIC Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, New Delhi are the Institutes affiliated from GGSIPU which offers the bachelor level programme. There are 110 seats in total offered by both the affiliated institutes.

IPU CET BSc Nursing 2020

IPU CET BSc Nursing 2020 is a national level common entrance test to facilitate the admissions in undergraduate level programme in Nursing. The conducting body GGSIPU offers 250 seats for BSc Nursing across 6 institutes and 20 seats for BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing at St. Stephen's College Of Nursing, New Delhi. The CET code for the BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing programme is 188 and CET code for BSc (Hons.) Nursing is 115.

IPU CET MPT 2020

CET MPT 2020 is a national level common entrance test to facilitate the admissions in postgraduate level programme in Physiotherapy. The conducting body GGSIPU offers 30 seats in different disciplines. ISIC Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, New Delhi is the Institute affiliated from GGSIPU which conducts the master level programme. MPT (Neurology), MPT (Musculoskeletal), MPT (Sports) and MPT (Cardiopulmonary) are the branches offered by the GGSIPU and the duration of the course is 2 years. The CET code for the BPT programme is 107.

How to Apply for IPU CET?

There are several steps the candidates have to follow to conclude the application form process. The conducting body has mentioned the instructions to fill the application form. Below are the steps candidates can follow to fill the IPU CET MPT application 2020 successfully:  

  • Candidates have to visit the official website of GGSIPU
  • Click on the 'Admission 20-21' button at the top of the homepage
  • The pop-down menu will provide two options, Read Admission Brochure and Click Online Admission Form, candidates have to choose on option
  • The application form will be available and has to be filled in three-steps
    • Sign-up (Step 1):
  1. Candidates agreeing the terms & conditions may apply by clicking 'I Agree' Check box given below and pressing the 'Start' button
  2. The candidate should fill up all the desired information i.e. Course Applied; Category, Personal Details, Contact Details, etc. correctly
  3. Sign-up by filling up Course Applied; Category; Candidate Name, Mobile Number, and E-Mail ID. After clicking SUBMIT button/ tab, the candidates will receive Application Sequence No (User ID) and Password on their registered E-mail ID during Signing. Now, candidate has to click “Log Out” tab (given on top right corner) and re-log in for Step-II. On completion of Step-I, Sign- Up mail will be received in candidate’s registered Email ID and mobile number confirming his singed up along with the User ID (Application Sequence No.) and password.
    • Registration (Step 2):
  4. After signIng up, candidate has to Re-login and Click on “Go To Application” tab for filling-up Eligibility Details, Personal Details, Qualification details, Upload digital image of Photo, Signature, Documents, etc. as applicable
  5. Instructions regarding scanning of Photograph/Signature: Candidates should upload the scanned (digital) image of their photograph, signature in jpg/jpeg format and relevant certificates pdf format as per the process specifications mentioned. For Photograph Image: Photograph must be a recent passport size, color picture on a light background(not older than 03 weeks), Candidate should be looking straight into the camera with a relaxed face while getting clicked, the size of the scanned image should be up to 10KB - 100 KB in JPG/JPEG format only. For the Signature image: The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black ink pen, the signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person, please scan the signature area only and not the entire page, size of file should be up to 10KB to 100KB in JPG/JPEG format only after uploading Photo and Signature images, click on “Submit” button then Application will be submitted and a notification will pop up on the screen saying 'Your application has been successfully submitted'.
  6. After uploading Photograph and Signature, click on “Pre-View” tab and check whether particulars filled are correct in all respects. In case of any error, the same can be edited before clicking the 'SUBMIT' button.
  7. The candidates have to go to the online Bil Desk once the Application is filled and submitted, the candidates other than exempted categories will automatically redirect to Online Payment Gateway i.e., via Debit Card, Credit Card or Internet Banking. 'Make Online Payment' and remit the Application Fee as applicable through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. The candidate may generate fee payment acknowledgement slip and transaction details at Payment Gateway for future reference.
  8. Candidates are advised not to attempt for registration more than once for one course. In case of multiple registrations, the one with the highest registration number will be considered as a final application and the last registration data for the course will be retained and the other registration will be automatically cancelled

  • Step 3: Pay IPU CET 2020 Application Fee

After submitting the duly filled IPU CET application form, candidates will be asked to make the payment of prescribed application fee. The payment of IPU CET 2020 application fee is to be made through available payment modes.

Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs 1,200 for the final submission of the IPU CET application form.
