Yes, XIM University follows a semester pattern for its BA programme. This three-year undergraduate course is divided into six semesters. XIM University Bhubaneswar admission to various courses is both merit-based and entrance-based. Admission to BTech, BSc, BCom, and BM is offered on the basis of a written test or interview conducted by the university. A candidate's past academic record is also considered at the time of final admission. The candidates have to qualify in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT or X-GMT to secure admission to MBA and Executive MBA programs. Final admission is subject to WAT and GD/ PI conducted by XUB Bhubaneswar. MTech admission is offered completely on the basis of a valid score in OJEE. For a PhD, candidates need to take UGC NET, followed by an interview. Any other equivalent national or state level examination qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.

XIM University has a cutting-edge campus that is home to a thriving student body. The XAT application fee is INR 2,200. The XAT fee is to be paid online at the time of forms submission. The fee is same for candidates belonging to all categories. Unlike other MBA entrance exams, there is no rebate for Reserved category candidates in XAT. If you select XLRI in the application form for admission, you will have to pay INR 200 additionally.

The fee can be paid via debit/credit card, cash card, mobile wallets, or net-banking. It is mandatory to pay the application fee before deadline for successful registration. Candidates can fill the application form and pay the fee later, however they will need to make the fee payment before the registration deadline so that their form is accepted by the examination authority. Until the fee is paid, the XAT application form will remain pending acceptance. Candidates must note that the registration fee is non-refundable. So, they should fill the form without error, otherwise they will have to fill the form again and pay the fee again.

XIM University XAT cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the MBA course and its specialisations, namely MBA in Rural Management and MBA in Sustainability Management. 

 General AI category students need to have a percentile of at least 90 to be considered eligible for admission.

It is not possible to get admission at XIM University with 90 percentile through CAT Exam. As per the XIM University cutoff data, the required cutoff for CAT exam was 91 for the General AI category candidates.

XIM University accepts the CAT cutoff for admission to the MBA course. According to the XIM University CAT cutoff 2025, a percentile of 91 (both overall and sectional) would be required to be eligible for XIM University admission. 

Candides should know that just clearing the final cutoff does not grant admission; they would also need to clear the GD, PI or WAT rounds to be considered for admission.
