Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling round 2 registration is over now. After this authorities will release the Punjab NEET PG provisional merit list on December 13, 2025. It will be out on the official website, bfuhs.ac.in. Students can do choice filling and locking between December 13 to 15, 2025. After this, authorities will release the Punjab NEET PG seat allotment result on December 19, 2025. Students allotted seats in round 2 will have to report for document verification. Applicants will have to report to the allotted institute between December 22 to 28, 2025

They also need to pay the admission fee. During reporting, students should carry original certificates along with the allotment letter. Students must qualify NEET PG 2025 exam with the minimum cut-off to become eligible for the counselling.

Punjab NEET PG counselling 2025 round-1 revised result

Based on the registration and NEET PG scores, a merit list is released. Eligible candidates included in the merit list will have to fill choices of course and college in which they seek admission. Based on the choices filled, the reservation factor, NEET PG rank in the merit list, availability of seats in a particular course and college, seats are allotted. Around 719 MD/MS and 109 MDS seats will be filled by Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling under the 50% state quota.

Punjab PG Medical Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Following eligibility requirements have to be fulfilled for Punjab medical admission 2025:

  • They must have completed MBBS degree from recognised college/institute in India.

  • A 12-month internship is must

  • Students must have permanent registration certificate issued by either Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

  • They should have scored minimum cut off marks in exam

The counselling process comprises a series of steps starting with the release of the application form. Following submission of application form, a merit list is released and eligible candidates are asked to declare choices for institute and course. The whole process of Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling has been explained below:

Punjab NEET PG 2025 application Form

Candidates have to register and submit Punjab NEET PG 2025 application form to participate in the counselling process. Only those who qualify NEET PG 2025 and submit application form in the given deadline become eligible for Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling. NEET PG qualified candidates with state domicile can submit the application for 50% state quota seats. Based on the NEET PG score filled in the application, a merit list is released, comprising eligible candidates for the counselling. Paying registration fee is mandatory to complete the application process.

Merit List for Punjab PG Medical Admission 2025

Based on the NEET PG scores and other details filled in the application form, a merit list is released by BFUHS. The merit list is released online for each category. The merit list for Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling comprises details such as percentile, All India rank, State Rank. Candidates included in the merit list are eligible to participate for Punjab PG Medical Admission 2025.

Choice Filling

After merit list, the choice filling window will open for the eligible candidates. Candidates will have to provide the preference for colleges and courses in the choice filling for Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling. Only registered candidates can declare choices for seat allotment. Candidates will have to login to declare choices and lock the same. The choice filling gets automatically locked after the deadline.

Seat Allotment Result

Seat allotment result for Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling will be released online for each round. The seat allotment list is released in PDF format. Candidates have to download the seat allotment result from the official website. The seat allotment is based on the NEET PG rank, choice declared, availity of seats in college and course, and reservation factors. After seat allotment result, candidates have to report to institute in the given deadline to confirm the admission. Candidates have to carry the original documents at the time of reporting.

Candidates are required to deposit the tuition fee through online University payment gateway only and then report to the respective allotted college for verification of original documents/credentials.

Q:   How many choices can be declared for Punjab NEET PG counselling?
A: 

Candidates can declare as many choices as they want for Punjab NEET PG counselling. It must be noted only registered candidates can declare choice for college and course for seat allotment process. To declare choice, candidates will have to login with registered ID and password. Choices have to be saved and locked in the stipulated timeline otherwise saved choices will be locked automatically. 

Q:   What is application fee for Punjab medical PG admission?
A: 

Candidates will have to pay admission application fee aalong with the application form for Punjab medical PG admission. Application submitted without the application fee will not be accepted. The application fee for general category candidates is INR 5,900 and for SC category candidates, the fee is INR 2,900. Fee has to be paid through online platforms such as debit/credit cards, UP etc.

Q:   Who conducts counselling for Punjab Medical PG courses?
A: 

Punjab NEET PG counselling is conducted by Baba Faridkot University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) for admission to Punjab PG medical courses. The whole counselling process will be held online for seat allotment. Candidates who will qualify NEET PG with the minimum cut off can participate in the counselling. Online registration and submission of application form is must for Punjab NEET counselling.

Q:   Can I apply offline to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment?
A: 

No. Candidates will have to register online and submit application form for Punjab NEET PG counselling. Application form for admission to PG courses can't be submitted offline/printed copy by post. Based on registration a merit list will be released comprising shortlisted candidates for Punjab NEET counselling.

Q:   How many rounds of counselling be held for seat allotment through Punjab NEET counselling?
A: 

A total of 3 rounds of Punjab NEET counselling including mop up round will be held for seat allotment in postgraduate medical courses. The counselling will be held for allotment of 50% state quoa seats. Candidates will have to qualify NEET PG with the minimum cut off to participate in Punjab NEET counselling.  Online registration is compulsory to become eligible for seat allotment

Q:   I didn't get the minimum cut off percentile in NEET PG. Will I eligible to participate in the counselling for Punjab NEET PG?

No. Candidates must score the minimum cut off percentile to become eligible for Punjab PG medical admission. Those who don't score the minimum cut off marks can't participate in the counselling. Candidates will have to register on the official website, bfuhs.ac.in and submit application form for counselling.
