NEET PG notification comprises details about various events related to exam. A series of notification is released by NBE on different time interval, comprising crucial details related to particular exam event. First notification for NEET PG 2026 will be released containing exam date. NBE, exam conducting body is expected to release NEET PG exam and registration dates along with official information brochure. NEET PG 2026 exam is expected to be held in August 2026. Registration may begin online in April 2026. The exam is conducted at the national level and facilitates admission to various MD (Doctor of Medicine)MS (Master in Surgery) and PG Diploma courses across India.

A: 

Yes. NBE released notification of application dates with official information brochure. Application form for NEET PG 2025 was released on April 17, 2025. Candidates have to register online to submit NEET PG 2025 application form. May 7 was teh deadlien to submit application form. The exam was held on August 3, 2025. 

Q:   What are the chances of NBE extending NEET PG date?
A: 

NBE extended NEET PG 2025 date after Supreme Court directed former to conduct exam in single shift.  The exam was postponed from June 15 to August 3, 2025. The exam will be held in computer-based mode in single shift. NBE had proposed August 3 as NEET PG 2025 revised date after Supreme Court ordered it to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. Later Sc allowed NBE to go ahead with August 3 as NEET PG 2025 revised exam date.

Q:   How many times can we appear for NEET PG?
A: 

Candidates can appear for as many times as they want. There is no cap on the number of attempts in NEET PG exam. As per the experts, candidates may appear twice for the exam to improve the score or to do away mistakes in the first attempt. NEET PG exam is held in computer-based mode. Candidates who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off can participate in the counselling process. They have to register and declare choice for college to participate in the seat allocation process. 

Q:   Has NBE released NEET PG 2026 date notification?
A: 

No. NBE has not released official notification for NEET PG 2026 exam date. NEET PG 2026 exam date along with other crucial details will be released along with official brochure. NEET PG 2026 is expected to be held in August 2026. NBE may start NEET PG 2026 registration in April 2026.

NEET PG stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate courses, conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in India. NEET PG, a postgraduate level entrance exam is mandatory for admission to all medical colleges in India. 

Q:   Can I appear in regional language for NEET PG exam?
A: 

No, you cannot appear in regional language in NEET PG exam. According to the NEET PG pattern, the examination is conducted in the English language only. All aspirants must refer to the question papers of previous years for NEET PG 2025 preparation. The examination will be held online (computer-based) at allocated centres across the country. A total of 200 multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam and candidates will get 3.5 hours to answer them.

Q:   Can I apply offline for NEET PG?
A: 

No. Candidates will have to register on the official website for NEET PG exam and submit application form. Offline and other mode of application will not be accepted. NBE, the exam conducting body will be releasing the application form online. Candidates will have to complete registration first to submit application form. NEET PG 2025 application form was released on  April17, 2025.

The required rank would depend entirely on which category the student belongs to. For the General AI category, a rank of at least 147188 is needed to be eligible for admission. Candidates can refer to the table below to know the maximum rank for each available course for this category.

Yes. You can crack NEET PG through proper planning and strategies. First try to complete whole NEET PG syllabus 2 months before exam. Class notes, refrence books plays a key role in NEET PG prepration. At least two revision is must in order to get good score in NEET PG exam.
