JEPBN 2026: Registration (Started), Exam Date (June 7), Question Paper, Pattern & Syllabus

No, candidates need to submit only the OMR sheets and the scratch sheets where they have done the rough work after the completion of the test. The question paper of JEPBN 2026 can be taken outside the exam hall after the completion of the nursing entrance exam.

The JEPBN 2026 question paper will be provided in the form of a question booklet. It comprise of 100 MCQs to be answered within 90 minutes. The question paper will be divided into two parts. While Part A carries 40 questions, Part B carries 60 questions. 

The candidates should note that there will be only one section in the JEPBN 2026 exam having 100 questions. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will release the JEPBN 2026 result in July. The qualified candidates will be called for Counselling.

Yes, WBJEEB will release the JEPBN 2026 answer key on the official websites. Candidates can check the provisional answer keys to calculate their estimated score. 

Yes, candidates will be allowed to submit challenges or objections against the JEPBN 2026 answer keys by paying a nominal fee per question. The Board will review the challenges and will later publish the Final JEPBN Answer Key on the official website. The Board’s decision will be considered final in this regard.

Yes, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will release the JEPBN 2026 cutoff for all the categories separately.

The JEPBN cutoff will be released after the release of the JEPBN result. It is released by the exam conducting body, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). The JEPBN cutoff is the minimun score which enables the candidate to figure out passing marks in the entrance exam. The JEPBN cutoff is released category-wise and varies as per the category of student who applies for the entrance exam. 

No, candidates will be allowed to leave the examination hall only after the completion of 90 minutes, or the total exam duration. JEPBN 2026 exam will be conducted in pen and paper base mode (offline mode). 

The counselling process of JEPBN 2026 will begin in August 2026. WBJEEB will be conducting web-based online counselling (e-counselling) for admission to Post Basic BSc-Nursing Course in various Govt. and Self-Financed Institutes in the State of West Bengal. 

Yes, WBJEEB will release the JEPBN counselling seat allotment result after the Round-1 counselling. The counselling will be conducted in two rounds. After each round, the seat allotment result will be declared by the counselling conducting body.
