CDS 2 2025 Registration Link Active, New Changes

CDS 2 Application Form: The Union Public Service Commission is accepting the CDS 2 registration form. Candidates meeting the eligibility can fill up the CDS 2 application 2025 online till June 17, 2025. Now, the CDS 2 application form can be filled out at the newly introduced portal at: upsconline.nic.in. To fill out the CDS 2 application form 2025, candidates must first create an account and then log in using their registered email ID and password, mobile number with OTP, or Universal Registration Number (URN), along with the Captcha code.

CDS 2 2025 Registration New Changes & Application Steps

The UPSC Online Application Portal now has four sections: three are always accessible, while the fourth becomes active only during specific exam application periods. The old One Time Registration (OTR) system is no longer valid, so all candidates must freshly register for CDS 2 and upload documents on the new portal.

Steps to Register for CDS 2

• Visit upsconline.nic.in
• Scroll to the “Account Creation” section.
• Register with your email ID, mobile number, and required details.
• Verify your email/mobile, set a password, and submit.
• Log in using:
  • Email ID & password
  • Mobile number & OTP
  • Universal Registration Number (URN) & password
  • Complete the Captcha code

UPSC New Portal: Universal Registration:

After login, access the Universal Registration link from the homepage. Complete three profiles:

• Identity Profile (name, gender, DOB, etc.)
• Matriculation Board Profile (Class 10 details)
• Aadhaar/Photo ID (Aadhaar preferred)

Data can be edited until URN is generated.

Complete CDS 2 Application (CAF):

Fill 10 modules, ending with Photo & Signature:

• Personal, Parent, Social Category, Disability, Address, Education, Work Experience, Achievements, UPSC History, and Photo & Signature.

Once done, they can apply for CDS 2 or any UPSC exam from the dashboard.
