RRB ALP CBT 2 exam dates 2025 have been announced. The exam for CBT 2 will be conducted on May 2 and 6, 2025. RRB ALP CBT 2 admit card 2025 will be released four days before the exam. Read below for more details on RRB ALP CBT 2 exam dates 2025.
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) announced revised RRB ALP 2024 CBT 2 exam date. The exam for CBT 2 will be conducted on May 2 and 6, 2025. Candidates whose exams on March 19 (Shift 1 and 2) and March 20 (Shift 1) were cancelled can take the rescheduled exam. The reporting time of candidates at the examination center is 07:30 AM (1st Shift) and 12:30 PM (2nd Shift). RRB ALP CBT 2 admit card 2025 will be released four days before the exam. RRB ALP CBT 2 city intimation slip will be released 10 days before the exam. Earlier, RRB ALP CBT 2 exam was cancelled due to a technical glitch.
RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern 2025
RRB ALP & Technician exam pattern for second stage CBT is divided into two parts-Part A and Part B. The details regarding both the parts are given below:
Part A
Part A of the second stage CBT comprises 100 objective-type questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. The marks scored in Part A alone are used to shortlist candidates for further stages of recruitment process subject to the condition that they secure qualifying marks in Part B. For incorrect answers in Part A, 1/3 marks are deducted. The minimum qualifying marks in this part are 40 per cent for UR & EWS, OBC (NCL) is 30 per cent, SC is 30 per cent and ST is 25 per cent.

Part B
The exam duration of Part B is 60 minutes. Total 75 questions are asked in the exam. This part is qualifying in nature and comprises questions from the trade syllabus prescribed by the Director General of Employment & Training (DGET). Candidates with ITI/Trade Apprenticeship qualification are required to appear in the section having questions from the relevant trade. Candidates holding Degree, Diploma and HSC (10+2) having eligibility for the posts of ALP have to select relevant trade from the list of trades listed against their engineering discipline/HSC (10+2). The minimum qualifying marks in this part is 35 per cent across all categories. The relevant trades for various engineering discipline/HSC (10+2) for appearing in the qualifying test are as below.
