AIIMS Nursing 2026 Important Chapter for exam: The All India Institute of Medical Science will conduct the AIIMS Nursing exam 2026 online as a Computer-Based Test(CBT) on June 27 nationwide. The number of seats available in the exam is 1,366 only. The number of applicants are much higher and hence the competition is tough in the exam. The maximum marks assigned for the paper are 100 for the exam.

The AIIMS Nursing Cutoff always remain high because most of the candidates across the nation aspire to become a part of AIIMS. Around 1 lakh candidates will appear in the exam and compete for less than 1 per cent of the seats in their category. There are 19 AIIMS in India as of 2025 that offer BSc nursing programme to the medical aspirants. AIIMS BSc nursing score will be accepted by all the AIIMS in India that offer the BSc nursing programme.

Q:   What is a good AIIMS BSc nursing cut off score?
A: 

AIIMS Delhi releases the cutoff every year depending upon the number of candidates who sat for the entrance exam and the difficulty level of the entrance. The AIIMS nursing cutoff varies for every year. The minimum cutoff score to qualify for admission into AIIMS for a BSc in nursing is 55 for General category, 45 - 50 for OBC category, 30 - 40 for SC/ST category.

Q:   What is AIIMS BSc nursing exam marking scheme?
A: 

AIIMS nursing is an online exam which is conducted in computer-based mode. The BSc nursing entrance exam will be conducted carrying 100 wuestions of 100 marks (i.e. 1 mark for each question). Each section namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, will be of 30 marks each except GK section which will be of 10 marks. There will be a negative marking of -1/3 marks for choosing incorrect option. 

Q:   How many AIIMS BSc nursing test centers are allotted in various cities of India?

Until last year, there were 100+ official AIIMS BSc nursing test centres in India. The list of the AIIMS BSc nursing test centres for the current year has not been issued yet.

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 Marking Scheme

Candidates can check AIIMS Nursing marking scheme online. BSc Nursing exam is conducted for 100 marks. The question paper of AIIMS BSc Nursing will have four sections, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. PCB has equal weightage. There will be 30 questions in PCB. General Knowledge sections will have 10 questions. Negative marking is done for wrong answers. -1/3 mark is reduced for wrong attempts.

IIMS MSc Nursing 2025 test centres are decided by the exam conducting body, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The list of AIIMS MSc. Nursing test centres are released by the AIIMS Delhi at the official website.

The candidates will be required to upload the category related documents with the AIIMS Nursing 2026 application. In addition to that, the scanned image of photo, left hand impression and signature will also be uploaded.

The AIIMS Nursing Post Basic exam admit card was released on May 25 and it will be conducted on May 30.

The BSc Nursing 2026 exam Admit Card will be released on June 19 (tentatively) and it will be conducted on June 27, 2026.

The last date to apply online for the AIIMS Nursing Exam 2026 was April 24. The status of the application acceptance or rejection was released on April 29 and the form correction facility was provided for the rejected forms only.
