What is JEMScN 2026?
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board conduct the Joint Entrance for Mater of Science Nursing (JEMScN) 2026 exam once in a year to take admissions in the MSc Nursing program across the state. The candidates seeking admission in the MSc Nursing course in the state (in the state run and private college/intitutes) will be required to appear in JEMScN 2026 exam. The JEMScN 2026 exam is the gateway to seeking admission to the postgraduate course MSc in Nursing. Candidates across India can apply for admission to the JEMScN exam.
JEMScN 2026 Eligibility Criteria

- Both Male and Female candidates can apply
- The candidate must pass any of the following courses from Institutes recognized by Indian Nursing Council namely: BSc - Nursing, BSc (Hons.) – Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, or Post Basic BSc -Nursing through distance education.
- Candidate must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the above mentioned courses
- The applicant must have obtained registration/RNRM certificate from the State Nursing Council of any State of India.
- The applicant must not be more than 53 years
- Minimum 3 years’ working experience after publication of result of the qualifying examinations

JEMScN Counselling 2026
The WBJEEB will conduct the JEMScN Counselling within a fortnight from the declaration of JEMScN result. The candidates who clear the JEMScN exam will be called for the Counselling process based on the merit list, category and domicile status. The entire JEMScN counselling process is web-based online counselling (e-counselling). The JEMScN counselling registration, payment of the registration fee, and choice filling will be the first step to participate in the counselling. WBJEEB conduct three rounds of counselling to grant admission to the candidates.
