JEMScN 2026 Dates OUT: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will conduct the JEMScN exam 2026 on June 7, 2026. The candidates should note that the JEMScN 2026 applications will start on April 1 at the official website - wbjeeb.in. JEMScN is also known as the Joint Entrance for Master of Science Nursing (JEMScN). The candidates will be required to apply online only for the exam. Board will soon release the JEMScN 2026 information bulletin to notify all the important information about the exam. The candidates are suggested to read and understand all the eligibility criteria given in the official information bulletin before filling the application form.
All the formalities for the JEMScN 2026 exam will be done online only and no offline form will be available for the candidates. The written exam will be followed by Counselling. The exam will be conducted to admit the candidates for the MSc Nursing course in various state institutions.
Earlier, the JEMScN exam 2025 counselling mop-up round seat allotment result was released on December 12, 2025. What is JEMScN 2026?
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board conduct the Joint Entrance for Mater of Science Nursing (JEMScN) 2026 exam once in a year to take admissions in the MSc Nursing program across the state. The candidates seeking admission in the MSc Nursing course in the state (in the state run and private college/intitutes) will be required to appear in JEMScN 2026 exam. The JEMScN 2026 exam is the gateway to seeking admission to the postgraduate course MSc in Nursing. Candidates across India can apply for admission to the JEMScN exam.
JEMScN 2026 Eligibility Criteria

- The Applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Both Male and Female candidates can apply
- The candidate must pass any of the following courses from Institutes recognized by Indian Nursing Council namely: BSc - Nursing, BSc (Hons.) – Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, or Post Basic BSc -Nursing through distance education.
- Candidate must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the above mentioned courses
- The applicant must have obtained registration/RNRM certificate from the State Nursing Council of any State of India.
- The applicant must not be more than 53 years
- Minimum 3 years’ working experience after publication of result of the qualifying examinations

JEMScN Counselling 2026
The WBJEEB will conduct the JEMScN Counselling within a fortnight from the declaration of JEMScN result. The candidates who clear the JEMScN exam will be called for the Counselling process based on the merit list, category and domicile status. The entire JEMScN counselling process is web-based online counselling (e-counselling). The JEMScN counselling registration, payment of the registration fee, and choice filling will be the first step to participate in the counselling. WBJEEB conduct three rounds of counselling to grant admission to the candidates.

JEMScN Exam Pattern 2026
JEMScN exam pattern 2026 will be released by the exam conducting body i.e. WBJEEB. The JEMScN 2026 exam duration will be 90 minutes. It is an offline exam where candidates get OMR sheets to fill in the choices. Candidates are required to carry blue/black ball pens to fill in the choices. Once filled, the response cannot be changed in the JEMScN answer sheet. As per the marking scheme, there were 100 questions of one mark each in the JEMScN exam. There will be objective questions in the JEMScN exam. Each question carries four options (MCQs). Each correct response invites +1 mark, and each incorrect option leads to a deduction of a -1/4 mark in the exam. Candidates are advised to refrain from making the wrong choice.
