ICAR UG/ CUET UG
National Testing Agency conducts CUET (ICAR-UG) for admission to Bachelor's Degree programs in Agriculture and Allied Sciences (other than Veterinary Sciences), at Agricultural Universities on 20% of the University seats [100% seats in RLBCAU, Jhansi; Dr RPCAU Pusa, Bihar; ICAR-NDRI, Karnal; ICAR-IARI, New Delhi and its Hubs.
CUET (ICAR-UG) is conducted at various test cities across India. Students who wish to pursue Agriculture must apply online. Before applying, check the eligibility criteria. Eligibility Criteria for CUET ICAR UG
- Passed class 12 with at least three subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture/Inter-Agriculture as core courses.
- Candidates who appear in subjects different from the one which they have passed in the 12th standard will not be considered for counselling / admission and will stand rejected.
- The candidates must attempt only those subjects (at least 3 subjects) in the examination as per the choice given in the Application Form. Therefore, they must exercise the choice of subjects very carefully. Attempting subjects other than those given in the application form will invite disqualification from counselling / admission process.
- Many admitting universities have special conditions (like upper age limit, mandatory subject eligibility for a specific program, gender-specific preference, etc.) for admission as per respective university statutes. It will be the responsibility of the candidate(s) to inquire about such special conditions from the University of his/her interest before filling up the online application form for CUET (ICAR-UG).

The CUET PG exam is conducted for admission to the postgraduate courses offered in the central universities, state universities, and other participating institutes. Postgraduate courses are offered in multiple disciplines like Science, Humanities, Commerce, Agriculture, Acharya, Engineering, etc. and professional degree programmes like BEd, MEd, LLB, LLM and MBA. Admissions are also offered to agricultural academic programmes like Agricultural sciences, agroforestry, horticulture and many more.

CUET PG Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with 4-years B.Sc. (Ag.)/B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag./B.Sc. (Horticulture) Degree with credit-based course programme.
- Candidates with a 4-year B.Sc. (Horticulture) Degree with a credit-based course programme under the guidelines of ICAR will be considered for all disciplines of the MSc (Ag.) course except M.Sc. (Ag.) Agronomy.
- At least 6.0/10 or 2.5/4, 3.5/5, 4.0/ 6 OGPA for general candidates and 2.0/4, 3.0/5, 3.5/6 and 5.5/10 OGPA for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD candidates in qualifying examinations as per University guidelines.
- Has not secured more than one III-division or equivalent OGPA in his/her academic career. *A student having an equivalent bachelor’s degree in agriculture from a foreign university may also be considered.
- For MTech Courses: B.Tech. Agricultural Engg./Civil Engineering./ B.E.(Agricultural Engg./Civil Engineering) recognized by the University. Secured at least 6.0/10 or 2.5/4, 3.5/5, 4.0/6 OGPA for general category candidates and 2.0/4, 3.0/5, 3.5/6 and 5.5/10 OGPA for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidates under the Course Credit System in qualifying examination, as per University guidelines and has not secured more than one III-division or equivalent OGPA in his/her academic career.

ICAR AIEEA PG/ AICE JRF Exam
ICAR AIEEA (PG) / AICE JRF exam is a national-level test conducted by the National Testing Agency. The exam is conducted for admission to Master's degree and PhD programmes in AUs in different disciplines of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary, Animal Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Community Science (erstwhile Home Science), Fisheries, Dairy Science and other allied sciences.
This is computer based test conducted at various test centres. To appear for the entrace test, students need to apply online at the website, icar.nta.nic.in. Candidates should select one Major Subject Group for appearing in the Entrance Examination, based on compatibility with their own subject at the graduation (UG) level. NTA releases the exam syllabus and paper pattern online. Follow the entrance exam syllabus to prepare for ICAR AIEEA (PG).

Rajasthan JET Exam
Rajasthan Joint Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam. Agriculture University, Jodhpur, conducts the Rajasthan JET exam once a year. MCAER PG CET Eligibility Criteria
The minimum criteria to appear for MCAER PG CET are mentioned below.
- Candidates should have completed their graduation degree of at least three years duration in the relevant subject to be eligible for MCAER CET 2026.
- They should have secured at least 55 per cent marks or a 5.5 CGPA score on a scale of 10 in their bachelor's degree if belonging to the open category.
- In case of reserved categories including, Schedule Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Vimukta Jati (A) (VJ-a), Nomadic Tribes (B) NT-b), Nomadic Tribes (C) (NT-c), Nomadic Tribes (D) (NT-d), Other backward class (OBC), Special Backward Category (SBC), socially and educationally backward class (SEBC), Economically weaker section(EWS) and Physically Handicapped (PH), the candidates should have secured at least 50 per cent marks or 5.0 CGPA score on a scale of 10 in aggregate of all subjects.
- Candidates in the final year of their graduation degree are also eligible to apply for MCAER PG CET 2026.
MCAER CET 2026 merit list will be based on 70 per cent marks secured by a candidate in the entrance test and the remaining 30 per cent marks from the CGPA score in the qualifying degree exam.
