Common University Entrance Test/ CUET UG is an entrance exam. It is conducted for admission to UG programs offered by various central, state, private and deemed universities. Candidates willing to take admission to undergraduation programme in streams like Science, Humanities, Commerce, Law and Management must appear for CUET UG exam when conducted.

This entrance examination assesses candidates at various levels: Language, domain knowledge and general aptitude. CUET UG is conducted annually in computer based mode. CUET UG scores are accepted by more than 300 universities across India. 

CUET 2024 is anticipated to take place over 3 days. Along with the issuance of the CUET 2024 admit card, the timing for the same will be announced. The table below will soon include updated slot-by-slot time.

The number of applicants registered for CUET 2024 and the subject combinations selected by the applicant will determine the exam date, time, and slot. The CUET UG hall pass and the intimation slip will provide students with the precise date and time of the 2024 examination. At the UG level, the university offers BSc, BTech, & other courses to students. BTech is provided in various specialisations like Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence),  and others. At the PG (postgraduate) level, the college gives MPharm, MSc, MTech, MBA, and other courses to students. The college also gives lateral entry, diploma, and various other courses to students.

The major concerns about the PAU admissions is the seat intake and the fee. The university has recently increased the seat intake for many courses but still the competition for the available seats is too high. The other concerns include fee. Following the announcement of the results, the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) cutoff marks are made public on the university's official website. For PG admission, the general category's minimum aggregate score is 50%, while the SC/ST/PwD category's minimum is 45%. On August 21, 2023, the OUAT UG admissions process for students supported by the State Government got underway. On August 18, 2023, the results were released along with the OUAT 2023 cutoff for postgraduate courses. UAS has not released their placement statistics on their official website since 2020. In 2020 the highest package was about 8 Lacs per annum and the median package was around 5 Lacs per annum. According to the college reviews written by the students of UAS, it is reported that the highest package for the 2023 passed out batch was near about 11 Lacs per annum and the median package was 6.5 Lacs per annum. Overall the placement scenario has improved since 2020. Placement wise UAS is a decent university.

Admissions to NEHU Shillong is offered on the basis of merit and valid scores of accepted entrance exams. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 for admission to UG level courses. Whereas, for PG level courses, candidates must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main, CUET UG/PG, CAT/MAT/AIMA and other national-level examinations suitable for the chosen course.
