Yes, there is facility to raise the objections of JEST 2024 answer key. The authorities released a window to submit the responses from the applicants. 

By taking input from the students, JEST final answer key will be released in online mode on the official website. There is no fee for raising the objections for the questions asked in the JEST exam. 

Applicants just need to do a email from their registered email id. 

After sending the email to the exam conducting authority regarding the challange to JEST answer key, applicants are advised to wait for the release for the JEST final answer key. 

IIST will check the email and a pannel will discuss the concerns and responses of students and accordingly after discussing with subject matter experts they will release the answer key.

JEST exam is conducted for admission into PhD and M.Sc / Integrated PhD courses. Though the difficulty level of JEST exam varies from one subject to another and from students to the student. While comparing it for Physics subject it can reffered as that the difficulty level of JEST lies in between that of IIT JAM and CSIR NET sciences exam. 

JEST examination is considered a tougher exam as compared to other exams, not because of the question paper, but because of that JEST qualification alone doesn’t guarantee a candidate admission. Students also need to particiapate various written exams and interviews for various research institutes after qualifying JEST exams.

Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) declared the result of JEST exam 2025 tentatively in the May. So only those candidates who qualified the exam need to further apply in IITs, IISc, IISERs, NISER, etc. It is to be noted that students should apply to multiple institutions in order to take subjects and institutes of their choice.  

Those who are undergraduate can apply for M.Sc and PhD integrated programmes while those who are post graduate can apply directly for PhD programmes.
