Both these branches are good and best in their respective fields and offer good career opportunities to students. But if we compare both of these, civil engineering is slightly better for both private and government jobs. Civil engineering has significantly more demand in infrastructure development projects. Civil engineering is considered better and have more demand in government sector while electrical engineering is better for private sector due to rise in private sector industries.
