Delhi University Cutoff 2026: Check College & Course Wise Cutoff Scores

DU MBBS cutoff 2025 was released for many AI categories on the basis of the NEET UG entrance examination. For the OBC AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 381 to 2106 for admission to various affiliated colleges.

To get an MBBS seat at DU, students have to appear for the NEET UG entrance examination, attain valid ranks according to the DU NEET UG cutoff 2025 and attend the NEET UG counselling process. 

The DU cutoff 2025 was released for various All India categories, like General, OBC, etc. For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 103 to 559, wherein Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi was the most competitive college for admission.

No, you cannot join Delhi University and its various affiliated colleges without giving an entrance exam. Students aiming for a seat in the MBBS course must appear for the NEET UG entrance examination, followed by counselling, to be eligible for admission. 

For the MBBS course, the NEET UG cutoff was published in the form of ranks for various All India categories. For the General AI category candidates, the highest rank admissible was 559. On the other hand, for the OBC AI category, the last round's the highest rank was 2106. This difference in the ranks clearly shows that the competition for the General category students was higher than that of the OBC category.

In 2023, the competition has reached very high in terms of cutoffs released. The cutoffs had shown a whooping increase over the years and set a bar for the candidates to put a lot of effort. With a mere 90 percentile, candidates won't be able to get admission in DU, they must need to acquire a minimum cutoff of 98 to secure a seat at Delhi University.

DU offers MBA course through FMS Delhi and Delhi School of Economics based on CAT scores. Candidates seeking admission to Delhi University MBA course must apply through the CAT scores. As per the previous year cutoff, candidates are expected to have an overall cutoff of 98 Percentile, whereas a sectional cutoff of 50 Percentile in order to be eligible for DU admissions through FMS Delhi. Also, in order to be eligible for Delhi School of Economics, candidates must have an overall score of 80 Percentile and sectional cutoff of 50 Percentile.

Delhi University admission to MBA is based on CAT scores followed by the GD and PI process. The further process of GD and PI is conducted for students with a valid CAT scores only. Affiliated to Delhi University, the overall Delhi School of Economics MBA CAT cutoff for general category is 85 Percentile, whereas the sectional cutoff is 50 Percentile for the General category, All India students.

The aforementioned cutoff is based on previous year cutoff and can be anticipated as future CAT cutoff.   

The University College of Medical Sciences NEET PG Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the MD and MS courses for all categories under the All India category. The cutoff for all courses ranged from 164 to 59585 for the General AI category in the last round. Among all the courses, the most sought-after course was MD in General Medicine course, followed by MD in Radiology course, with the cutoff being 164 and 341, respectively. The DU AIAPGET Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the MD course for all categories under the All India category. As per the Round 1 cutoff ranks for the General AI category, MD in Homeopathy (Practice of Medicine) course had a cutoff of 3. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff for MD in Homeopathy (Organon of Medicine and Homeopathic Philosophy) programme had a cutoff of 4 in the first round cutoff 2025. To get admission to the MD courses, students have to appear in the AIAPGET exam and attain the eligible cutoff. Those who belong to the General AI category and want to gain a seat for the MD in Homeopathy (Practice of Medicine) course, would need to have a rank of 3, according to the Round 1 ranks for this category. 

Students who are from the OBC AI category, and want to get admission to the MD in Homeopathy (Organon of Medicine and Homeopathic Philosophy) programme, should have a rank of 4 in the first round to have a chance at admission to the Delhi University affiliated colleges.

The DU NEET MDS Cutoff 2025 was released for all categories under the AI quota for admission to the MDS courses. For the OBC AI quota, the cutoff ranged 33 in the first round to 423 in the last round. In 2024,  DU cutoff 2024 has been released for the admission to MDS specialisations. Yes, NEET MDS exam is accepted by Delhi University to offer MDS specialisation through its various affiliated courses. Delhi University allows candidates to get admission to various MDS specialisations such as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine & Radiology, and Prosthodontics for various All India and Home State quotas. 

The DU NEET SS Cutoff 2025 ranged from 10 to 2725 for the General AI category candidates admission to various courses, like DNB, DM, MCh, etc. Among all the courses and specialisations, M.Ch. in Surgical Gastroenterology was the most sought-after one for admission, with the cutoffs being 10.

DU DM cutoff 2025 ranged from 11 to 562 in the first round for the General AI category. The most and least preferred specialisations were DM in Geriatric Mental Health and DM in Cardiology, with the cutoffs of 11 and 562, respectively. 

So, candidates with a rank lower than 11 would have a better chance of admission at this institute. Cutoff for other categories, rounds, etc., will be different. 

CUET UG is compulsory for admission in the affiliated colleges of University of Delhi for UG courses. Delhi University introduced admissions through CUET scores  for candidates who seek admission.

Candidates will not be granted admission on the basis of merit of Class 12 There are some percentage criteria required to appear for the CUET exam for Class 12 candidates which is given below:

• Students must have passed Class 12 or appeared in Class 12 from a recognized board in any stream to take admission to bachelor's degree programmes in the central, state, private or deemed universities.
• For the General category, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50% in Class 12; for SC/ST, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% in Class 12 to be eligible for the CUET exam. For BTch programmes, the minimum aggregate for the General category candidates is 45%, and that of the reserved category candidates is 40%.

Morever, candidates who wish to apply for Delhi University must have a valid score in CUET. Undergraduate courses including BCom, BTech, BA, BSc and more are offered by the affiliated colleges.

Yes, you can get into DU with a score of 500 in CUET UG. For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff varied from 306.25 to 747.87 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science course. Hence, check the table below to know which colleges are available with the attained score. 

Also, other courses will have different cutoffs. 

The minimum score needed by  SC AI category for admission to this institute would depend on the course. For the BSc (Hons) in Computer Science programme, the Round 1 cutoff varied from 159.07 to 582.02. So, the minimum score required for this course was 159.07.

For the MA in English programme, the minimum score was 246.61. Other courses and rounds will have different cutoffs.

For the General AI category students, the Delhi University BTech cutoff 2026 for Round 3 ranged between 72170 and 99638.

Yes, as per the JEE Main 2026 cutoff rank for CSE, it is possible to get a CSE seat at the University of Delhi with a cutoff rank of 41000. During Round 3 seat allotment, the highest rank required for CSE admission was 105413 for the students belonging to the OBC category under the AI quota.

So,  41000 is considered a safe rank for getting admission at DU for the CSE branch.

DU PG cutoff list 2026 has been announced for various affiliated colleges based on CUET PG. The exam was held for a total of 300 marks, so the safe score will be between 220 and 250 marks for the Unreserved category to get admission in the best colleges of the University of Delhi for PG courses. The cutoff scores vary by courses, colleges, rounds and categories.

DU CUET PG cutoff 2026 has been released for various affiliated colleges for MA in English. As per the Round 3 cutoff scores,Delhi School of Economics (DSE), University of Delhi had the highest cutoff score of 273 for the M.A. in Sociology programme.

DU cutoff 2026 has been released for BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons) courses based on CLAT score. During the Round 2 cutoff 2026, the cutoff for BA LLB (Hons) admission was 90.25 for students belonging to the General AI quota. The DU AYUSH Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS course for all categories under the All India quota. As per the last round cutoff for the General AI category, the BHMS - Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery had a cutoff of 46875, and BUMS - Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery, had a last round cutoff of 59612. 

In the case of the OBC AI category, both the courses, ie., BHMS and BUMS had the last round cutoff of 74967 and 72548, respectively. Students can refer to the table below to know the last round cutoff for both the courses for different categories. 

DU AYUSH Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BAMS/BHMS/ BUMS course for all round and categories belonging to the All India category. For the General AI category, the cutoff ranged from  46875 to 72156 for admission to the UG courses. Therefore, students who are aiming for admission to Delhi University via the AYUSH exam should strive to attain a rank in this range. 

For the General AI category, the BHMS course cutoff in the first and last round was 72156 and 46875, respectively. For the BUMS course, the cutoff was 59612 in the last round.
