Students are then selected on the basis of their score on the entrance exam, Written Assessment Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI), both of which are conducted by the university itself. 

Ahmedabad University offers admission to BTech through national/state-level entrance exam. Those who belong to Gujarat domicile can apply via a valid score of GUJCET as per the ACPC norms. Admission to candidates from outside of Gujarat is offered based on the scores of JEE Main. The university allocates 50% of seats to the JEE Main qualifiers through group counselling and the remaining 50% of seats are allocated through ACPC based on GUJCET scores to students belonging to the Gujarat domicile.

This course is offered by the Amrut Mody School of Management in Family Business and Entrepreneurship specialisation.
