AIIMS Gorakhpur Scholarship Details ,

AIIMS Gorakhpur does not have its own private scholarship scheme. All scholarships are facilitated through Government of India portals and are verified by the Institute. The scholarship section is handled by Registrar Office and Dean Academics. All notices related to scholarship are published under Student Notices section on official website. The Institute acts as verifying authority and issues bona fide certificate to eligible students.

1. National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students

This scholarship is for ST students studying in MBBS, BSc Nursing and MSc Nursing at AIIMS Gorakhpur. It is announced by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, Scholarship Division. It was earlier known as Top Class Education Scheme. This scholarship is entirely for ST students only and there is no limit for number of applicants. Anyone eligible for the scheme shall apply and can avail the scholarship. Students who have applied last year shall apply as renewal candidate only. All eligible students are informed to avail the scholarship and apply at earliest.

2. Documents Required for ST Scholarship

ST Certificate signed and stamped by competent authority is mandatory. Income Certificate for the Financial Year preceding the year of selection issued by designated authority by respective State or UT is required. Fee Receipt issued by AIIMS Gorakhpur Accounts Section is required. Scanned copy of bank passbook where student name on passbook should match with name as mentioned in application form is required. Mark sheet or certificate of qualifying examination is required which is 12th standard for graduate level course and graduation for post graduate level course. For renewal candidate last passing semester marksheet is required. Bona fide certificate issued from the Institute with seal and signature of Registrar is required.

3. National Overseas Scholarship Scheme for ST Students

This scholarship is for eligible ST students who want to pursue higher studies abroad. It is announced by Ministry of Tribal Affairs under NOS scheme. AIIMS Gorakhpur circulates the Ministry letter and guidelines through Student Notices. Students have to apply on Ministry portal with admission offer. Institute provides support for document verification and forwarding. IT-Cell hosts the notice in Institute Website along with Ministry letter.

For any difficulty regarding scholarship application students can contact Registrar Office at AIIMS Gorakhpur. Dean Academics circulates notice among students. Principal of Nursing College circulates among BSc and MSc Nursing students. Provost of Girls Hostel MBBS & Nursing and Provost of Boys Hostel MBBS & Nursing circulate among hostel students. All verifications are done online through NSP and National Tribal Portal.
