Placements: The College Has A Job Placement Cell That Organizes Campus Interviews To Facilitate Job Proposals For The Final Year Students. Its Goal Is To Provide Employment Opportunities To Every Willing Student On Completion His/Her Academic Curriculum. Significant Progress Has Been Made In This Regard. Reputed Indian And Multinational Companies Have Visited The Campus And Selected A Large Number Of Students For Recruitment And Have Been Placed As programme-Trainees, Process-Executives etc. The highest package was 5 LPA for our course and average is 4 LPA the lowest 3 LPA. But the placement percentage is low.

Infrastructure: At Aliah university, the students are endowed with modern infra and convenient amenities that make their life easy in college hours, alongside make learning more interesting. Some of the facilities include well-ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, hostel facility for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor games, stocked library, seamless internet connectivity, medical facilities etc. All-time Wi-Fi available and good food quantity in college canteen.

Faculty: The syllabus is based on CBCS syllabus. Teachers are from reputed university where they got a degree. They are very knowledgeable as well as helpful. Because of the CBCS curriculum it makes the students industry ready, as I think our university syllabus is modern enough to make the students industry ready.

Other: I chose this course because I love mathematics. I love to solve mathematical problems. I think the Library facilities needs more improvement. More books will help us bring our best. Campus crowd is very student friendly connectivity is good because it's situated in a prime location Newtown, Kolkata.

The review of my college, Aliah University.

Placements: The previous passing out batch of our department got decent placement thought it's not a engineer subject. It's Bachelor & Masters in mathematics. The highest package was 5 LPA, the lowest was 3lpa & average is 3 LPA because most of the students got 3 LPA expect few 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Kotak Mahindra Bank, TCS etc. Top roles were manager or bank branch, as the previous batch said. Nearly 40% of the students got internship from my course and mostly in TCS, Kotak, Amazon.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure is very good in our Aliah University Newtown campus as the campus is not that old. There's a central Library in which there are separated space for different branches, subjects. The books are kept seperate for each branch or subject. Labs are decent though they are not world class. Necessary equipments are there. Wi-Fi facility is available all time. Many Wi-Fi networks with decent speed. As of mow there are 2 hostels for boys & girls respectively. Food quality in hostel is average. But food quality in college canteen is awesome. Medicine facility with good doctor is there. Many sports cricket, football etc. Are played and tournaments are organized every year.

Faculty: Yes tge teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is okay. Mosr of the teachers are from reputed Universities like iits nits or Jadavpur CU AMU etc. Faculty is very good. Our present B.Sc. course is based on cbcs (choice based credit system). It makes the student industry ready.

Other: I choose this course because of my love towards mathematics and problem solving. Best things about my course is it's something that is very interesting to study. I love it. I wish that the placement cell improves and seminar is organized regularly so that the students are motivated always. Campus is very eco friendly. Many fests are organized every year including fresher's welcome, picnic, ifftar party. Campus is in a very urban area ie Newtown. The students from here participate in national football tournaments. No scholarship is given by college but the college help students every way getting scholarships.
