It is the best place for research-oriented study.

Placements: In our previous batch, there are 16 students. First, they conduct a mock interview and after that the real interview. Companies like TCS, Cognizant and Byju's visited our campus for placements. TCS and Cognizant have not recruited anyone. Byju's offered the highest salary package of 12 LPA for some students. Marketing role was offered to the students. Among 16, only 3 students got placed.

Infrastructure: Facilities available in our college are quite high class. It has a 2 storey library and high tech lab with cutting edge research materials. The campus is centrally air-conditioned, and free Wi-Fi enabled. Amity is well-known for its infrastructure. Hostels are air-conditioned with sky-scraping buildings. It is a very good college for masters since it provides research exposure. The food served to the students is good, but they don't serve non-vegetarian food. Medical facilities are also available with a qualified doctor.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly-qualified. They are post-doctorate and indulged with a lot of research work. The course curriculum includes a compulsory summer internship, and in the last semester, there is an only major project, i.e., you have to do research. The course curriculum makes us stand out among others and helps a lot in getting a PhD. It is provided to meet international standards and makes you ready for any research-oriented job.

Other: I have chosen this course because I already did a B.Sc., so I opted for an M.Sc. The things that attracted me in our course is a summer internship, major project and research lab. The college charges only 1.38 lacs for 2 years. I wish still if the astrophysical part of the department is given good care, then there will be no place for grievances. Amity organises a 4-day fest named as Amiphoria with DJs, games, etc. It also celebrates Diwali Durga puja, Holi, and other celebrations. The campus crowd is very good with many students. You also get a scholarship for good performance.
