The famous specialisation, BSc in Zoology, is inclusive of several theoretical subjects, such as animal anatomy, physiology, genetics, evolution, and ecology, with practical components. Now in the same specialisation, the university includes different practical combinations in subjects, such as dissections, microscopic examinations, field-related work, etc.
The minimum marks needed to appear for the AUCET entrance exam to get admission to BSc at Andhra University differ on the basis of the candidates' category. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to BSc at AU through AUCET for the general category is 50% in Class 12, 45% for SC/ ST/ OBC in Class 12 and, similarly, 45% for PwD in Class 12.

The classes for M.Com course in CAC, Andhra University start at 8pm and continue till 4pm with one hour lunch break from 1pm to 2pm. Classes conducted in batches. There is no evening classes. Timetable is soon released after admission gets over.
