College is average in terms of all faculty members, facilities, labs, etc.
Placements: 85% of students are placed in electrical based companies. The college provides skill development classes and programs to improve students' caliber. The recruiting companies are V Guard industry and Allied Engineering company (KEL). 100% of students got internships in KEL, etc.
Infrastructure: College has high facilities. The college provides excellent labs for all departments. Lab has a lot of new instruments. College provides free Wi-Fi in each department, and the class has a large touch TV, which helps to improve and speed the coverage of the syllabus.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and average knowledgeable. Teachers quality is average. Teachers provide average knowledge to industry-ready. All teachers use advanced tools to study the students, which makes it easy to subjects. Semester exams are above average in difficulty in our college. 75% is the pass percentage.
Other: I take this course because now electrical engineers are very less in number so it improves my chances of getting jobs. All events are conducted in college, and a lot of fests are conducted here.

    Good infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: 75% of students were placed in our college. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Keltron, ESAF, etc. Top roles offered in the course are embedded engineer, VLSI design engineer, and so on. Currently, taking this course is very relevant and good for future.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have classrooms, Wi-Fi, library, canteen, basketball ground, and so on. The quality of food in the hostel is acceptable, and students are okay with it. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, and food for hostel students is available in the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are eligible for teaching well qualified and friendly with all students and supporting for everything related to academic activities Semester exams are seen to be little tough but the supporting faculty members helps us to get maximum marks and so on.
Other: Events like Teach fest arts and sport are conducted .

LBS – they say empowerment, but it’s not really true.
Placements: Considering the last three years, the placements have gradually decreased, mainly in the IT field. Companies like Infosys, IBM, Tata Elxsi, Allianz, etc., have visited our campus. The companies mainly focus on students in the IT field, which makes it tougher for civil students. The CGPU has been having sessions where we are trained for our placements; this has been active only since this year.
Infrastructure: College has a small campus which is within a 5-acre plot, including the hostel. The college has a sufficient number of classrooms as of now, but I don’t think they can manage if more branches are introduced to the college. The college hostel has new blocks, but the old block remains the same without much maintenance. The curfew of the hostel is 7 pm, which is very appropriate.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty good, but only a few of them. The major reason is that faculty members are given subjects that are not in their domain, which makes it difficult for both the faculty and the students. The university exams are pretty tough to crack, but repeated previous year questions can help us. The syllabus is of no use when we consider the jobs that we will be working on. If you are on this campus, we can’t fully rely on the faculty and syllabus, we’ve got to work out our way.
Other: I don’t think it is value for money, as the total expenses for a merit student are around 3 LPA, and the hostel rent and mess bill together are below 6000 per month. According to the system, the crowd is too small for the college, and the campus life is poor. They don’t really permit campus life. The campus is only accessible to students until 5 pm, while hostellers can use it until 9 pm. It’s a pretty bad situation for day scholars.

SNIT, Adoor, 2024-2028: Good placement and affordable fees.
Placements: 30% of students get placed every year, but if you have back papers, you also get placed. Top recruiting companies visit our course. 70% of students got internships. The top roles offered in companies like Microsoft, Intel, Tata, Google, so many of them came and gave the placement.
Infrastructure: The main problem is that there is no network only. We use the internet. They only have the range for internet, but every department has Wi-Fi, and we can access it. The lab is very good. There is a canteen for good food and the ground for playing sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Most of the teachers are just graduates and came to college to teach, but they are very good at teaching. According to our new year 2024 scheme, there are only 4 modules for studying, so they are much simpler and much harder.

The college has good infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: Several companies like Infosys, Amazon, etc., come for the placement drive annually. At least 15 students get paid internships in the 4th year. The highest package in 2025 is 34 LPA from Amazon, received by two students from the AI and ML branches. The 2024 scheme provides internships in the 4th year.
Infrastructure: Currently, college hostels aren't available, but there are several hostels nearby. Wi-Fi is available, and labs are of top quality. The college has a library. There are department libraries too. Classrooms are average. The canteen operates almost daily. Sports are active, even though the ground is small.
Faculty: The 2024 scheme is different from the 2019 scheme. The 4th year is purely practical, where we do projects, seminars, and internships. There are two series of exams before the KTU semester exams, which are considered for internals. Exams aren't that difficult if we study seriously. The staff members are very supportive and qualified. They often give additional classes if needed.
Other: AI and ML is a field that is growing rapidly. Taking this course provides you with a chance to land a job of your dreams. Companies are more interested in this branch. Cult Away is an annual college fest, mostly held for 3 days. There are many societies and clubs where you can showcase your talents. The campus surroundings are good, with a basic canteen available.

College has basic infrastructure and outdated teaching methods, but the faculty are supportive.
Placements: Around 60-70% of eligible students in our college get placed every year. Many well-known companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and EY visit our campus regularly. For my course, roles like software developer, analyst, and testing engineer are most common. The average package is decent, but a few companies offer high packages. Internship opportunities are also available through the placement cell, mainly with companies like Quest Global and Tata Elxsi.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite basic. While we do have Wi-Fi, classrooms, and labs, the maintenance and availability of resources are often lacking. The hostel facilities are average. I feel there's not much focus on sports or recreational activities. More attention is needed to improve student comfort and experience.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive, but the way of teaching is not proper. The classes are mainly focused on theory and are harder to follow; most students get bored during the classes. The curriculum is not fully updated with the latest information regarding industries, so we have to depend on online sources and self-study to learn more. The semester exams are fine, but I have faced difficulties in fulfilling the answers according to the given questions.
