Leadership is not developed by sitting in classrooms, making notes or solving MCQs. It emerges through limitless meetings, late-night practice and last-minute chaos before fests. This is the wild, chaotic and colourful world of student clubs and council.

Leadership is not developed by sitting in classrooms, making notes or solving MCQs. It emerges through limitless meetings, late-night practice and last-minute chaos before fests.

Students Club: More than Activities

Student club can be imagined as a small ecosystem, each with its own atmosphere, drama and inside jokes, but most importantly, as space where students discover their true selves without the need for a personality test.

It goes beyond just taking action. It's about becoming someone; someone who can lead a team, manage time, handle emotional, technical, and even fashion difficulties, and still show up with a smile and coffee.

The SRC, or Student Representative Council:  The Real MVPs

The students' representative council functions much like a parliament for campus life, through with far less shouting. Members are often seen coordinating fests, sending reminders and staying on top of everything happening across the university.

There is more to becoming a member of the SRC than just titles. It involves coordinating activities, negotiating with teachers, arguing for student concerns, and acting as a link between "the system" and the student chaos. It's a mix of people management and policymaking, with a lot of Google Forms and a little Excel.

This experience becomes a leadership crash course. Grduates of the SRC leave college more confident, patient and equipped with a better understanding of life.

Dance Clubs:  Where Every Step Has a Story

Dance clubs bring energy to the campus through marking steps with invisible beats in the cafeteria queue, and living life like it’s a musical. These clubs teach discipline, self-control, coordination, and how to keep smiling despite a sore ankle, as well as training for stage performances.

Music Clubs: A Passion Hub

Whether through jam sessions or grand functions at the annual day, the music clubs serve as a platform for students to bring their creativity to the table.

Poetry & Literature Clubs: A Word Play

The Poetry and Literature club attract students who love to play with words to showcase or demonstrate their thinking and expression.

Sports Clubs: The Pulse

Sports clubs represent the dedication and discipline of campus athletes. The ones who train at drawn, push themselves on the field and play with equal passion.

Whether it is basketball, cricket, football, or even ultimate frisbee, sports clubs instil teamwork, time management and resilience to embrace both victory and defeat with dignity.

Theatre Club: All the World's a Stage

The theatre club transforms scripts that create stories into life.

Art & Craft Club: The Avengers of Beauty

The art and craft club is behind the vibrant decorations that transform college events. The artists work together to discover new techniques, improve their craft, and enhance the campus's visual identity.

What Do All These Clubs Have in Common?

Despite their diversity, all clubs share a common goal: they develop character. Students learn to take risks, face setbacks, and grow.

Club Culture: Real Leadership School

Leadership does not require being the loudest or most extroverted person in the room. Sometimes it begins with attending a single practice session or showing up consistently for meetings. Student councils and clubs go far beyond extracurricular activities.

Sometimes it all begins with showing up for a practice session or club meeting. It also helps students find purpose within the vibrant chaos of campus life.
