Galgotias University appoints ISB Prof Saumya Sindhwani as Provost
With over two decades of experience across academia and the corporate sector, Professor Sindhwani has worked across Asia, Europe, and Africa. She has contributed to executive learning and leadership programmes for global companies including Google, Goldman Sachs, Walmart, Novartis, and Accenture.
Galgotias University has appointed Professor Saumya Sindhwani as its new Provost, bringing on board an academic leader with experience in executive education, organisational development, and institution building.
Professor Sindhwani joins the university from the Indian School of Business, where she served as Associate Dean for Advanced Management Programmes and Executive Director of the Centre for Learning and Management Practice. She is also a member of the Board of Advisers at Jose Rizal University.
With over two decades of experience across academia and the corporate sector, Professor Sindhwani has worked across Asia, Europe, and Africa. She has contributed to executive learning and leadership programmes for global companies including Google, Goldman Sachs, Walmart, Novartis, and Accenture.
She earned her PhD in Corporate Strategy and Corporate Citizenship from Alliance Manchester Business School and completed her MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
At Galgotias University, Professor Sindhwani will work with the leadership team on strengthening academic quality, research, faculty development, curriculum innovation, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Speaking on her appointment, Professor Sindhwani said, “Galgotias University has built impressive momentum and scale. I look forward to working with faculty, students, and colleagues to further strengthen academic quality, research, innovation, and opportunities for learners.”
