Overall the best university for the M.Sc. in microbiology course.
Placements: Almost 83% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Among top employers for our course are Amgen, Biogen, and Merck. Around 76% of students secure internships from our course. Biotechnology consultants and bioprocess engineers are among top positions.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is comparable to that of the majority of centrally funded institutions. The digital library of the college is kept up to date. Hostels are also kept up nicely. The infrastructure of the campus is nearly identical to that of the majority of IITs and NITs. The campus network is the only area where it can fall behind other IITs and NITs. The institute occupies 150 acres in total. There is no Wi-Fi in classrooms. There is Wi-Fi only in the hostel.
Faculty: Semester exams are good. Every topic question is asked in class. The class topic, which is studying in class, is the source of all questions. Anyone can do so if they study their class notes. Around 70% of students pass.

The environment in our university is the best.
Placements: Our university provides almost 90% placements. In this course, the highest salary package was 10 LPA, and the average salary package was 3 LPA. Also, our university provides internship facilities. After this course, you can work as a Medical Researcher, Data Analyst, Technical and Academic Professional, Environmental Consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: The university offers the best facilities. Big classrooms are available, and the Wi-Fi speed is excellent. Lab rooms are available, and library facilities are provided. Quality food is available in our canteen. Outside the college, rental rooms are available, and our university seniors organize sports and games.
Faculty: Basically, our department teachers are experienced, and some of them are gold medalists. They put in all efforts and support to make the students industry-ready. Our teachers provide notes on a regular basis. The university's final semester exams are not difficult, and almost every student passes.

All types of facilities are available.
Placements: In this course, the placement percentage is above 85%, and the average package from the university is around 2-3 lacs per annum, with the highest package being 10 lacs per annum. Almost the same percentage of students are getting an internship. Career opportunities after M.Sc. include research scientist, engineer, data analyst, science writers and so on.
Infrastructure: Assam University's infrastructure is very good; more facilities are available at our university. Wi-Fi is so good, all rooms are projector-connected, and all types of reference books are available in our library. Outside the university, mess is available. Also, in our canteen, medical stuff is available. Our university organizes sports every year.
Faculty: In our department, most senior faculty members are available. They have given suggestions to complete our final year project. Also, the teachers are providing ideas to achieve our future goals. Our university semester exam is easy and almost 99% of students pass.

Firstly you have to satisfy minimum eligibility criteria that is 55%(45% for SC/ ST) in BSc(qualifying degree) and 50% marks in qualifying exam.
Then cutoff will depend on factors like number of candidates appeared in exam and difficulty level of exam.

There is no such restriction on General category students that they are not eligible. General category students generally have to score more to be eligible but even that criteria is very relaxed. AUS conduct their entrance exam for which you can refer here :- https://www.ausadmission.in.

Revise your B.Sc subjects thoroughly with special focus on microbiology, questions from all subjects such as cell biology, chemistry, immunology, biochemistry, etc. are asked only basic understanding. The Entrance Examinations for various PG, UG and Integrated Courses will consist of a Written Test
