- Scribe facility: In case the candidate has physical limitation and required a scribe for writing the exam, he/she must be certified in the format provided by CMO/Civil Surgeon/ Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution.
- Extra time: PwD candidates will get extra time of one hour whether such candidates use scribe facilities or not.

Yes, Assam University offers separate boys' and girls' hostels. Assam University houses eleven hostels: five for boys and six for girls. The hostels are furnished with basic facilities. Along with the accommodation, the varsity also offers mess facilities to the students, which can be availed of by submitting a preference for a meal at the time of admission.
