CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

Assam University doesn't offer scholarship opportunities to students, but students can still avail of various state and central scholarships from outside the college while pursuing the course. Some of the scholarships are:

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. Assam University cutoff 2023 is based on JEE Main scores followed by the JoSAA Counselling. JEE Main Round 6 has been released for University admission to the  BTech courses as a concluding round. As per Assam University JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 48929 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota,  47665 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Assam University offers over 86 UG, PG, diploma, doctoral, and certificate programmes in various fields, such as Engineering, Arts, Science, and Commerce, and for admission in many of the courses and specialisation there are specific entrance exams such as CUET-UG for admission in UG courses, CUET-PG for admission in PG course, JEE-Main for admission in BTech course.

Students need to prepare well for the aforesaid entrance examinations because having a good rank will ensure that the candidate becomes eligible for further counselling, followed by document verification and fee payment.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

As per the latest report, the highest package offered to CSE students during 2023 placements was INR 6 LPA and was offered by Hexaware Technologies. Earlier, the highest package offered in 2022 was comparatively higher and the amount stood at INR 10 LPA.
