My journey at GC College.

Placements: Student gets admission to the BBA department with a minimum of 60% in their 10+2 results. The highest and lowest packages in the BBA department at our college are 10 LPA and 2 LPA, respectively. The top recruiting companies for this course are HDFC Life, Bandhan Bank, etc.

Infrastructure: In our classroom, there are no such faculty members available. That should be improved by the college. Hostels have free Wi-Fi and food available in the mess and canteen. The food quality is average. The college also has its own medical facility along with sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide the most relevant and updated knowledge to students, which is very profitable from an exam perspective. They also provide the best notes for exams easier for the students.

Other: I chose this course because, since class 12th, I have researched many courses and got familiar with this one. So, I choose the BBA course. As I live in Silchar, there is not a single college or university that provides a BBA course other than GC College. When I was admitted in 2022, Assam University also provided an integrated BBA and MBA course in 2023. The placements and the teaching technology in our course should be improved. This college conducts lots of events, fests, and other co-curricular activities, which are very helpful for students.

Overall, an awesome college.

Placements: So in our batch, nobody got placement this year. Because of some issues, placement did not happen this year, but I've heard a few students got placement, like five to six students, and the average package was around 5–6 LPA. 30 percent of these students got placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good, and no, we don't have Wi-Fi facilities in our college; they do not provide it. However, we do have a good laboratory, fine classrooms, and a very good library, and our college also provides us with good hostel facilities for both boys and girls with good safety measures. The canteen food is also good, neat, and clean; they maintain hygiene; and we also have sports events annually.

Faculty: Faculty curriculum is good; teachers are very helpful and friendly; they help you a lot; and the teaching quality is excellent. Yes, this course is very relevant. If someone is thinking of taking it, they should definitely go for it. It makes you industry-ready. The difficulty level, I would say, is pretty tough. You have to study hard. The pass percentage for the examination is 30%.

GC College is not an ideal institute for pursuing BBA.

Placements: Placements are not guaranteed at the college and they are cleared during the admissions process. But some small companies come to conduct campus placement interviews. Internships are not offered by the college, so students have to search for internships on their own.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite old; the classrooms are basic rooms equipped with fans, boards, desks, benches and other necessary things. The college has a library that provides many books and free Wi-Fi; it also has a sports field; and it has a cafeteria canteen for food. There is a boys' and a girls' hostel available.

Faculty: The faculty are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are equipped with high qualifications and teaching experience and are very friendly with the students. The course curriculum is relevant and on par with the top institutes; it covers every major topic & concept required in the field. The exams are mediocrely difficult and the pass percentage is 40%.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide good placement opportunities. A few local companies visit our college to recruit students. The average salary package offered ranges between 8 LPA - 12 LPA. Students have to find placements by themselves.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good placements. Our college has a canteen, sports facilities, etc. They provide many courses. The course consists of 3 years. They have added a new four-year degree course. Our college provides self-finance courses and add-on courses.

Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and friendly. They are professionals. The teaching quality is good. They clear our doubts. It is a good college. They provide good skills. They make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. If you study well, you can easily score good marks. The pass percentage is 30%.

I am happy that I took admission in this college.

Placements: I am studying BBA in this college. At least 100 students are pursuing BBA in this college. Some local companies came here for recruitment in recent years, with packages ranging from 15,000 to 25,000 per month. This is the only college offering BBA in the Slichar area.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are quite good. We have got a separate building for our department with more than 10 classrooms. The college also has a library with lots of important and knowledgeable books, which we use to read in our free time. Annual sports are also held every year in this college. The college also has hostels for both boys and girls. Since I did not stay in the hostel, I don't know much about it.

Faculty: Our department's teachers are very helpful and friendly. They all are very highly qualified, and their qualification details are provided on the college's website too. The way our teachers teach helps us learn very much about the business, its strategies and all other things about business. Semester exams are also quite difficult, but it depends on the students. If they are studying hard, then exams are easy. If they are not, it will definitely be tough.

In the entire Barak valley GC college is the best college in Silchar .

Placements: I am not sure but it's average students were 100-120 Our college is a government college so it doesn't provide any additional package Out of 100 students only 80% of students get internship and rest of 20% apply for government jobs or start a new buisness .

Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi computer rooms and many more. In addition we have a library where are you fine many types of novel newspapers and many more. From our college we have many tournaments like cricket football badminton and many more. We have a medical restroom in our college.

Faculty: According to me to just from our college are very helpful just support in everywhere whenever we need something regarding notes or missed session classes. I personally I love the way they teach us. I don't think the exam are very difficult they are like just whatever the taught in the classes the same the way they give notes. And we can have maximum common questions out of them.

Other: In Silchar there are many colleges but I prefer GC college is the best because it has nice timing when environment and lots of new things.
