The eligibility criteria to get admissions into MSc courses at Azim Premji University is that candidates must complete their bachelor's degree from the recognised university. Additionally, ideal candidates should possess basic mathematical and analytical skills to succeed in this programme. For the final selection process, the university accepts the scores of two entrance examinations, i.e., the CUET PG and the in-house university entrance exam (APU NET).

The eligibility criteria to get admissions into MSc courses at St. Joseph University is that candidates must complete graduation with a minimum of 40% aggregate of all the subjects and 50% marks in Chemistry (cognate subject)/Biochemistry (with a minimum of 24 credits in Chemistry) and studied Mathematics at least at Class 12 or PUC level or Mathematics courses equivalent to Class 12 level through MOOCS programmes. Additionally, candidates must have passed St. Joseph's University Entrance Test (SJUET). 

It is tough to compare which university is easier to get admission into for MSc courses among Azim Premji University and Christ University. Both of the universities are privately owned and have similar reputations in Bangalore. However, if we compare the admission process, APU Bangalore accepts the scores of the CUET PG entrance examinations and Azim Premji University National Entrance Test for admission to MSc courses, and Christ University offers admission on the basis of the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET), Micro Presentation (MP), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

Candidates can choose any of the institutions according to their preferences. The only difference between the admission process of these universities is that APU Bangalore offers admissions through the score of the national-level entrance examination and in-house entrance test. On the other hand, Christ University MSc admissions are based on candidates' scores in the university entrance examination.

Candidates can get admissions to the MSc courses at Azim Premji University without CUET PG scores. As the scores of Azim Premji University National Entrance Test are also considered for admission.
