After completing BTech from BIHER, students are open to various opportunities. BTech graduates are hired across all industries owing to their diverse set of skills and knowledge base. Engineering and Technology go hand-in-hand and are the most indispensable asset of any nation. BTech graduates are the building blocks for manufacturing and production activities. Therefore, the core industries offer millions of job opportunities every year to BTech graduates. Besides being hired as engineers, BTech graduates are also hired as consultants, subject matter experts, researchers, managers etc. Many BTech graduates, after completing their 4-year programme, go for an MBA degree. While there are others who appear for GATE to pursue higher studies in the chosen specialisations.

As per the latest report, Bharath University attracted 207 recruiters for its 2022 placement session who offered a variety of job roles to the students across sectors, such as BFSI, IT, Education, FMCG, Consulting, and E-Commerce, etc. Earlier, in 2021, the total number of recruiters stood at 176.  BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BIHER offers BTech course in 16 specialisations, namely Aeronautical, Aerospace, Automobile, Civil, Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial Biotechnology, Mechatronics Engineering, etc. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for the BTech course. Candidates must pass Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in PCM/ Biology for Bioengineering department. Apart from the regular four-year BTech course, Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research provides lateral entry. BTech (LE) is also available in various specialisations, namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, etc. However, one can also apply for lateral entry after completing the Diploma course.
