A large green campus with great infrastructure and good teachers.

Placements: Placements in the college are really good. A lot of good companies and other companies visit the campus for placements. Placements for the masters' students are less than that of B.Tech students. The college is located 21 kilometres away from Ranchi. Placements for the M.Tech students are less compared to B.Tech ones. Many companies such as Mahindra, etc., visit the campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. The campus has a lot of greenery which gives a good feeling. The college is surrounded by a river. It is located in a village called Mesra which is about 21 kilometres away from Ranchi. The college is spread over 1,000 acres. There are a total of 14 hostels, and the environment is good.

Faculty: Faculty members in college are good and have quite a deep knowledge of their subjects. There are a number of departments present here. The students studying in this college are also knowledgeable. There are many departments like mechanical, civil, electrical, etc.

Other: The most awaited event conducted in the college is Bitotsav for which the students wait for a year.

Brilliant atmosphere, infrastructure and satisfactory facilities.

Placements: The placement for masters is unsatisfactory as only 2 of my seniors got placed from the college. In my batch, it's better, but not that better, for placement we mainly rely on the colleges where we are placed as an assistant professor. The core companies mainly prefer UG students than us.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very decent with the neat area expanding around 950 acres. The college has furnished classes, big library, labs with almost every facility. The campus is full of greenery with tall trees covering almost every part of the campus. Did River name Subarnrekha surrounding? It's in an arc shape. We have quite a decent cafeteria with almost everything necessary for a student being available in there.

Faculty: The teachers do teach with their full intensity, but exceptions are everywhere as few teachers do not pay enough heed. The curriculum for masters is believed to be a bit outdated, as now a lot of innovative work has been done in the field, but we still study the old syllabus, In fact, several types of equipment and machines that aren't even used in the industry are taught. Overall, it is satisfactory.

Other: The campus crowd is very happening with more than 20 clubs like music, dance, literary, society, photographic, society clubs, etc., organising different programmes and competitions. Yearly fest-Bitotsav, sports fest-Vajra, techfest-Pantheon are organised in the college which keeps the college alive.

Little satisfied with the placement in 2017, good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Very good placement in good IT companies. Many pre-placements are also done. Good placements in core companies, good placement activities are taken. So that students get benefited in every aspect. Other training sessions are also taken within the department to improve communication skills as well as personality.

Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure at campus, canteen, hostel. The food quality is really good and provides healthy environment for students. Also, very big campus for sports, so that students are mentally and physically healthy. Greenery is really good, which is helpful to be healthy.

Faculty: Highly qualified faculty members in respective departments which help students for all kinds of development. Also, many projects are being given, developing theoretical as well as practical knowledge of students. All faculty members are very helpful to students so that students can learn things in more better ways.

Other: The campus, as well as the hostel life, is really good. Students enjoy there life. The campus is really good in all respect and one of the best institute in India for education, placement, research work and projects. Many events are organized there. BIT Mesra ranks 17 among all the top 200 colleges in India.

You would fall in love with the serenity of the campus life.

Placements: Placements are okay for masters. Not so good, if you are in a core branch looking for a core company placement. Companies like Think n Learn, Cognizant and Hyundai do provide an opportunity. If you are competent, you'll easily grab an internship as well as placement. So, be prepared for any opportunity coming your way.

Infrastructure: Labs are well equipped. Library has almost all required books. Sports is given a lot of importance. You have a gym, playgrounds, running tracks, and an indoor sports arena. Hostel rooms have open racks. They are well enough for single occupancy. Food in the mess is great. A number of eating outlets are there across the campus. The campus is lush green.

Faculty: Courses are according to the latest interdisciplinary engineering trend along with the basic engineering. The faculty is well qualified from reputed institutes and teaching methods are interactive. The internships provide industry exposure. The faculty is involved with outsourced projects from agencies like DST etc. So they'll provide you with a lot of additional information.

Other: The college would give you an entirely amazing experience. The campus is large. Keep a bicycle. Weather is great. As far as placement is concerned my personal experience was a win-win. One paid internship and one placement. The campus is far away from the main city, but well connected by college bus services and auto rickshaws. The medical facility is average. You can only get your flu or stomach ache treated on the campus. Yes, they do get you a medical insurance done for the duration of your course.
