CUK Karnataka offers BSc for 3 years to 5 years in full-time mode on the basis of merit. The University offers the respective course in various specialisations at the total tuition fees ranging from INR 48K to INR 60K. Admission to CUK Karnataka is offered on the basis of 50% minimum aggregate in Class 12. In addition to this, candidates must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as KCET/JEE Main or other equivalent examinations.

The Central University of Karnataka counselling process begin after the releasing of CUET UG results on the official website of CUET. After the result declaration, the counselling is solely conducted by the university itself. To proceed for counselling process, candidates are required to fill an online application form on the online admission protal of CUK. 1. Visit the official online admission portal of CUK (culcuet.samarth.edu.in/). 
2. Use CUET application number, and other details along with email ID and a password to open the application form. 
3. Fill the form with all the relevant information and complete the application form after uploading the necessary documents along with the CUET UG result in the prescribed format.

CUK Karnataka provides various placement opportunities through the placement committee that has been established to cater the students. The University has recently recorded the highest package and average package offered during Central University of Karnataka placements 2024 were INR 9 LPA and INR 4.50 LPA. Admissions at Central University of Karnataka (CUK) are mostly entrance-based, except for some courses. For most of the UG and PG programs, you need to appear for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET), which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to 12 central universities.

For B.Tech and M.Tech programs, you need to have valid JEE Main and GATE scores, respectively. For PhD programs, you need to qualify for a written entrance test and a personal interview conducted by CUK. You also need to meet the eligibility criteria of the course, such as having a minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying exam. Students have to register themselves on the portal of CUK Samarth. At the time of registration, students are required to pay a registeration fee to successfully submit the form. To get admission in Central University of Karnataka (CUK) for B.Tech courses (lateral entry), you must have completed a 3-year Diploma in engineering with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. You can register yourself online for admission by filling out the B.Tech lateral entry admission registration form and registering for the entrance exam (if required).
