That's why many students opt for higher studies in India or abroad, such as Ph.D. or postdoc, and a few get research assistant jobs.

College is okay, it depends on you whether you like it, overall it's good.
Placements: Placements are not that much but a good number of students are placed for a 3 LPA-4 LPA package and core companies don't visit that much compared to other colleges. Still, some companies visit and it's good if you get selected as a fresher but don't expect a very high salary.
Infrastructure: The new hostel is great. Mess food is also good. The college campus is also very spacious but the distance between the hostel and department is very big and it's kind of hectic to attend classes, especially during the summer when bikes are allowed on campus. Lab facilities are also being provided.
Faculty: Specifically for the engineering course the faculty is good and the curriculum is okay. The exams are held on a regular basis. Faculty here in the engineering department are highly qualified and have very good teaching experience. The course is good.

Overall, the university is good. In 2025, from CS department 24 students got placed.
Placements: For my department (Electronics and Communication) placement is not too good. The placement faculty are actively doing work. In 2025 from CS department 24 students got placed. The company visited TCS. Here the placement is not too good you have to do more work for yourself.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good and new. A hostel is given to all students and in one room there are 3 students. The Wi-Fi network is decent. Department infrastructure is also good and new. There is a smart board for every classroom. The lab is also good and all components are available in the lab.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful we can relate to what they teach. After the class the lab is there and the semester exams are not too hectic. You can pass easily even if you studied before the exam. Central University of Karnataka is an autonomous university so question papers are made by the subject teacher and also checked by them.
Other: There are 2-5 events in a month.

The course is quite tough but good if you want a challenge.
Placements: Placements are fairly low. The Computer Science and Mathematics branches are new, and none of the batches from these branches have completed their courses, so there is no placement data from these branches, and the data available is from Electrical and Electronics branches.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good for Mathematics and Computing and Computer Science. The labs are fairly new, and the faculty members are nice enough that if there is an issue with infrastructure, they try to resolve it. The hostels are fairly new and good with decent facilities.
Faculty: The exams are decent, but some subjects are very tough, specifically the mathematics ones. A lot of people fail in the mathematics subject in their first semester. The teachers are very nice and helpful; some of them can be a little tough, but they are good and decent.
Other: I choose this course because I have interest in it. The surrounding is very nice, it is quite hot and dry in summer, but in monsoon, when everything is wet, the surrounding becomes very green and lush. There are not that many people compared to other universities that I have been to, but the campus is very diverse with a fair percentage of people from every corner of India.

University is good and satisfied with the facilities.
Placements: There are no maximum placements, but education is good. Placements are too low so that's why their NAC is B+. They are not too old college, that's why they have no placements in more departments. Psychology department has good placements. So if you are interested in that department you can join.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college and hostel are good compared to all colleges. Hostel is too good but there is very hot temperature. Hostel facility is good. Room is big. In one room 6 members are there. Hostel facility is provided for all students.
Faculty: Teachers are good in nature. They are helping other students. They can help with the study. Exams are strictly conducted. If you are studying properly, then you can pass the exam because it's not an easy paper, you have to study for the exam. Teachers are generally well-qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. Most have M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees and good command of the core concepts. They explain topics clearly using both theoretical and practical approaches.

My Review of this college.
Placements: Placement cell of our college is very good, but it is limited to a few courses. Very few companies visit for Science courses, which is obvious as Science students have more options through entrance or after post-graduation. Placement cell for humanities and commerce students is performing quite well, with an average package of around 5 LPA and the highest up to 15 LPA. Some companies that approached Science students are TCL, Infosys, Wipro, eBay, Macleods, Cipla, Sun Pharma, etc. They offered a starting salary of 30,000 to 50,000. There is a 50 percent recruitment rate.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are really nice. 24/7 electricity and water are available, as well as other requirements like microwave, induction, fridge, washing machines, and geyser. Food is also hygienic and eatable.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is extremely knowledgeable, with years of experience, making them capable of handling the course very well and effectively. I really feel honored to have such lecturers as my mentors, who helped me in understanding the subjects. You will have to work hard on your own in some subjects, as the exams are pretty difficult. We have 4 semesters, and each semester has one exam and one lab test. Internal exams are also held in each semester. The exams are not very frequent, which I felt was appropriate. During the two years of the course, I had a good opportunity to study some great divisions of Physics, such as Mathematical Physics, Modern Physics, Mechanics, Optics, Thermal Physics, and Electromagnetic Theory. The curriculum is well divided into different units, so that every aspect of the subject is clear to the student. Subject-wise, Optics deals with the behaviour and various phenomena associated with light.

Punctual in everyday programs.
Placements: The maximum opportunities approaching the college for recruitment were financial assistant, BDA, and accounting executive. Maximum students choose to work in the role of BDA due to higher pay, and they were usually paid above INR 3.6 LPA. As of 2023, 63% of students got placed in various MNCs and moderate companies.
Infrastructure: College fixed several teams and some responsibilities, so each of the team do something at their best like arranging some special events, webinars, etc. But they failed to communicate this with one another which created a lot of confusion at the end. Other than this college was so punctual in their everyday programs.
Faculty: Teachers always keep them away from the problems, constantly flying away from the zone of questions. They were short tempered, with lots of self-doubt in delivering the classes. Teachers even share the simpler sessions in complex way and made us think like it's more complicated.
