Dissatisfied because of the campus, but it's shifting, so don’t worry about it.
Placements: I haven’t completed my course yet, but I have heard from seniors that they get good placements. This university ranks 8th in India. The average placement is 5 LPA and the highest is 17 LPA. There are many internships and part-time jobs you can do to gain experience.
Infrastructure: Three places the college is located. There is no boys’ hostel or canteen. Wi-Fi and campus are not good. However, there is a good campus in Dharamshala. That doesn’t matter much because a new campus is about to be ready in Dehra Gopipur (Kangra), so I hope it will be good.
Faculty: Teachers are good and qualified. Exams are easy, and you can get 50% or more if you are a little good at studying. Teachers bother you about maintaining 75% attendance, so make sure to attend classes. Otherwise, you won’t get the admit card. Stay connected to teachers. It’s helpful.
Other: Sometimes, you feel like you’re living in a rural area, but it’s a good place from time to time.

Faculty members of the college are good.
Placements: The placements of the college are really good, and it is 100%. The college also provides us with internship opportunities of 100%. The highest package offered to our batch is 10 Lacs per annum. The college has good placement overall in terms of placing the students.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure that are provided to us in our hostel are good. The college provides us with Wi-Fi facilities and filtered water in the library. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is also good, and the food quality is also great in the canteen.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful. They are very well qualified and are also knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the faculty members is also very good. The course curriculum is also very relevant to that of the industry, and the pass percentage is also very high.

Central University of Himachal Pradesh Review.
Placements: No placement from our batch. Only a few companies have placements every year and they offer an INR 1-1.5 LPA package. Most of the students prepare for government exams or choose to go for further studies. There are no internship opportunities. We have to find jobs on our own.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is poor. The Wi-Fi works but only for teachers. The classes are shabby. They need to fix it. The library is good. The hostel is fine. The students are friendly and helpful. The food in the mess is fine but not tasty. The sports ground is small.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful if you ask them for help. They are qualified and skilled. The curriculum is very old and needs to change. It does not make us industry-ready. The semester exams are easy. You need to follow the textbooks and ask your teachers for help.

One of the best college in Himachal Pradesh.
Placements: Students from last semester are chosen for campus placements. A student who qualifies pre-test for the campus placement programme can sit in placement only. In the year 2022,18 students got placement from MBA on the highest package of 6 Lacs per annum and the lowest one was 3 Lacs per annum. They got profiles of management trainee and HR executives.
Infrastructure: The building of hostel is on rent by the university in Dharamsha. However, the rooms are very fine. There are rooms with the capacity of 2,3 and 4 students in it. Rooms have tiles and solar geyser is also there. Tea is provided twice in a day. There's mandatory bus service for students who go to far campus as two are located at Dharmshala, one at shapur and other at Dehra.
Faculty: I chose this course since I want to go in teaching line. Now I am teaching in a public school. There are very efficient department and has a good number of professor and also faculty students Ratio was very good. They have high qualification degree and years of teaching experience. They teach us very well. Exams are based on the semester system and easy to score good marks by writing exams through class note. Class size, 60. Course fees INR 18200 per year.

It was a worthy place to learn and grow.
Placements: About 70% of students were placed from my batch. The salary package was quite good. All major hard-core media houses recruited students. The internship had been done by everyone individually. Senior editor was the top role offered. This university had various departments with undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Infrastructure: We had Wi-Fi enabled campus and lab to work on different projects. We had Friday special lab sessions. We had a fully functional library and a smart classroom. In the hostel, rooms were so clean and the maid also comes to clean them daily. Food was fine in hilly areas. Facilities like sports, medical, etc., were available. We had recreational time also.
Faculty: Professors at our university were so highly qualified and well versed in the subject. They had theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the subject. They focus to make students ready for the industry and the things that they were lacking. They work promptly. Semester exams were easy and the pass percentage was 33%.
Other: There was every activity conducted on campus. Every department organised different fests and events which made college life more enjoyable.

Dissatisfied with the campus problem.
Placements: I am pursuing masters, and I am in the second semester where I haven't placed yet, but as per my knowledge, there's a placement cell in the university which helps to place students in their area of interest. Many faculty members do train students for upcoming interviews and competitive exams.
Infrastructure: The Central University of Himachal Pradesh still hasn't got any permanent campus. The classes are established temporarily and acquired blocks. University is divided into three campuses. They temporarily acquired a block of Shahpur, Dhauladhar, and Dehra.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well-trained in their professions. Many of the faculty members also have work experience, for example, TV journalist, cinematography, event manager etc. They do boost every student to do work of his/her interest. Where their knowledge is very helpful to the students as they teach what is best for a student.
