The campus is awesome, and the faculty is good, but the only thing is that placement is not good.
Placements: In my college, out of 600 students, only 50-60 students get placements. The students who have a 9+ CGPA have been placed. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. The roles offered by the course are Developer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, ML Engineer, etc. Up to 90% have gotten an internship on the Edu Skills platform.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best. Entire campus have Wi-Fi networks, and labs are the best. Classrooms are also the best, and the library is average. The hostel is the best, but it is very costly. The quality of food available in the mess is good, and medical facilities are average. In sports, the university has a separate academy. The university's cricket ground hosts leagues like the Vijay Trophy, DY Patil Trophy, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is the best and the curriculum is relevant. This course curriculum is recently designed by the university, and this makes students industry ready compared to other universities. There are no difficulties in semester exams in the college, and the pass percentage is 50 percent mark score.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to become an AI/ML Engineer. The improvement I wish to make is gaining more practical and hands-on experience. The campus crowd is moderate, but during events and fest time, the crowd is large. The campus is surrounded by an MIDC area, and university extracurricular activities happen, like NSS, NCC, and others, such as the medical field, camping, etc.

While the infrastructure looks good from the outside, the actual facilities could be much better.
Placements: D.Y. Patil University Pune Ambi offers diverse courses like Full Stack Development, Business Executive, and Cybersecurity. The average package range is between 2-4 LPA. It's not a good choice for practical learning, decent placements, and a supportive campus environment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at D.Y. Patil College, Ambi Campus, is far from what is expected of a reputed institution. While the college buildings may look modern from the outside, the internal facilities are poorly maintained and barely functional. Classrooms often lack proper ventilation, fans and lights don't always work, and the furniture is old and uncomfortable.
Faculty: The academic experience at D.Y. Patil College, Ambi Campus, has been extremely disappointing. The faculty, for the most part, lacks proper communication skills and in-depth subject knowledge. Many professors seem unprepared and are unable to explain core concepts clearly. Doubts are often left unresolved, and interactive learning is almost nonexistent. Some teachers are helpful, but they are few and far between.

D Y Patil University, Pune, has a huge campus full of greenery and is situated in a natural place.
Placements: The highest package offered by DY Patil University, Pune, in 2024 was 12 LPA. Over 500 companies participate in the placement drives. It has a 100% internship rate.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available in our college are Wi-Fi, labs, seminar halls, canteen, study room, mess, classrooms, digital rooms, sports, games, hostels, and indoor and outdoor games. It also provides food, medical facilities, a library, digital rooms, computer labs, simulation labs, hostel accommodation with amenities, a stadium, a court, and a gymnasium.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching qualities are understandable and easy. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Most of the students say that if we stay consistent through the semester and don't scream everything in the last week. Our college has highly qualified teachers. They provide the best to gain knowledge. We get to know about coding, drone lab, workshop, digital workshops, digital labs, etc.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in computer engineering. There are many subjects like Python, digital electronics, etc. Our college conducts events like technical, coding, a tech fest, etc.

It is a good college, and one must go for admission. There is good placement and quality education.
Placements: "85 to 90 % of are students get a campus placement.
10 Lacs is the highest package,4 Lacs is the lowest package and 7 Lacs package is the average package offered in are course are top recruiting companies are like TCL, Infosis etc. My batch mates got internship by government and other companies in the S. Y."
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi on every floor for every department. There are good labs for every subject with AC, and a library to study in. The college has a good canteen and mess available nearby. The college is good at sports, like cricket, and other games are also there. The student council, NSS, and NCC organize all events in our college. This all makes me a person who is busy throughout, and makes me industry-ready. It also helps me to concentrate. Medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and have good knowledge. The teaching quality is good, and they are all very helpful to us. It makes us industry-ready and also gives us good knowledge due to field visits, etc. Exams are not that difficult, and the passing percentage is half, or 50%. We have to be regular in college to get ready for exams because the teachers help with any doubts and clear them at any time.
Other: I chose this course as I had an interest in the computer field. I like the NCC of the college as it is well-disciplined, and I am also in the cricket team, which gives us a very good opportunity. All the events are well-organized. There is a good campus crowd, connectivity, a free, and healthy campus surroundings. There are so many extracurricular activities.
