- CMAT 2027 registrations might begin in October 2026. The exam will be conducted on Feb 7, 2027.
- CAT 2026 admit card download will begin on Nov 4, 2026, and the CAT exam will be held on Nov 29, 2026.
- MAT 2026 (December session) have started. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 14, 2026, and the exam is scheduled for Dec 20, 2026. For CBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 21, 2026 and the exam takes place on Dec 27, 2026.

DIT University MBA fees are charged to students on a trimester basis. Each instalment of MBA fees has the same cost, which candidates need to pay before the beginning of the trimester. Main components of DIT University MBA fee structure include tuition fees, hostel fees and academic service fees. The fee payment can be done in six equal instalments across the two-year duration.
The hostel fee is higher for single rooms with bathrooms and other amenities. Under the state domicile policy, Uttarakhand and Himalayan state domiciles get fee concessions of ~25% in tuition fees. DIT University Admission Withdrawal and Fee Refund Policy runs in sync with UGC guidelines. The percentage of fee refund depends on the time of withdrawal, as given below:

DIT University MBA Admission & Application Process 2026
DIT University MBA application process can only be completed online. To be able to apply for DIT University MBA course admissions, candidates need to have a valid score of one of the accepted entrance exams. DIT University admissions are also decided based on its own entrance exam known as DUET for the MBA course. Check out the steps below for the MBA admission process:
1: DIT University MBA Application Process
- Go to the website and click on the 'Admission' tab.
- Register on the admission portal and log in.
- Choose the BTech course and log in.
- Provide copies of requested documents.
- Pay the application fee (INR 1,250) and submit the form.

2: Shortlisting
After the MBA admission form submission, candidates are shortlisted based on their score in one of the accepted entrance exams. Selected candidates will be called for a group discussion and personal interview round. Final admission will be based on the combined DUET, MAT, XAT, UKSEE, CMAT or CAT score with the GD and PI round scores.

3: Confirmation of Admission
Once the candidates have been allotted a seat in the MBA course, they need to pay the tuition fees to confirm their seat.

If I had to choose, I'd lean towards Thapar. A senior I know from Thapar's Chemical Engineering branch had a good experience with the faculty, labs, and placement opportunities. If you're considering Chemical Engineering, Thapar is definitely a strong option.
