The university shortlists candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. DIT University Dehradun also conducts DUET for shortlisting aspirants for MPharm, M.Tech and PhD courses. DIT University admissions are open online for various courses. Till now, no schedule has been released by the university. Since the application portal is live, candidates can apply online for their preferred course. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD across various specialisations and aspirants need to apply for courses through the official website.

The students wanting to pursue Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm) course from DIT University should have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board. In addition, the qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board. Students must also hold the documents or pass certificates at the time of form filling or admission. DIT is constantly working towards developing a great aura for students that is extremely calm to get rid of a hectic study schedule. The university organises various activities such as Nukkad Nataks, various exhibitions, quiz competitions, plays and several fashion shows. These are regularly organised by students in the Open Air Theatre of the university.
DIT University provides Sports Scholarship to UG and PG students. The scholarship amount under this scholarship is awarded as per Sports Scholarship policy applicable on tuition fee only for first year students.
Students of second year onward will be eligible for scholarship subject to participation in International/ National/ State Level sports activities subject to approval from competent authority.

DIT University DPharm fee is inclusive of various components, such as caution money, hostel fee, tuition fee, and more. Some of the fee components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. DIT DPharm tuition fee is INR 1.6 lakh and the hostel fee is INR 1.13 lakh.
