DIT University BTech Admission Dates 2026
DIT University BTech admission dates are directly in line with the JEE Mains. Candidates are required to participate in the following counselling rounds in order to secure their BTech admission. DIT University BTech deadline is usually scheduled in the month of April. The result will be revealed in the month of June.
JEE Main dates are scheduled in two sessions for one academic year starting from the month of November till January for the first one. Second JEE Mains session is scheduled between Febraury and early April.

After the application has been submitted, the institute begins the shortlisting process of candidates for the counselling round. This is done on the basis of JEE Mains result for most candidates. However, candidates who manage to score a top rank in the Class 12 board exams are alloted a seat directly into their chosen BTech course.
During counselling, candidates also undergo the document verification rounds.
STEP 3: Confirmation of Seats
Once a candidates has been alloted a seat in their chosen BTech course, they need to pay the DIT University BTech admission fees. The BTech admission fees is comprised of a one-time payment of INR 15,000 which includes the security deposit of INR 5,000.

DIT University BTech scholarships provide concession in the tuition fee to meritous candidates. These scholarships are offered on both merit-basis and need-basis. 26% scholarship on tuition fee shall be granted to permanent residents of Uttarakhand/ Other Himalayan States for whom 40% of seats are reserved in all UG courses.
Merit Scholarship shall be awarded to BTech students on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in identified subjects at the time of admission and is applicable on the tuition fee of the respective year of study. The student's score in the entrance exams are also taken into account when deciding the amount of DIT University scholarships.
The DIT University scholarships cannot exceed more than 100% of the candidate's tuition fees. Every student is only allowed to avail the benefits of only one scholarship scheme. To apply for these scholarships, candidates need to go to the website of DIT University.

The curriculum of all courses is divided in six/eight semesters. The syllabus includes different core and additional subjects. Additional subjects include SEC, AEC, electives, etc. Some core subjects in English are Dalit Literature, Woman Writings, Indian Diasporic Literature, etc.
