My honest experience at Galgotia University.

Placements: Placements in our CS/IT batch are pretty good, with around 75–90% of students getting placed. The placement cell works hard to bring companies and also helps students with mock interviews and resume building. Recruiters from decent IT and tech companies offer roles like Software Developer and Data Analyst. Some students also get internships in their 3rd year, which later convert into full-time offers. Packages vary. Service-based companies offer lower packages, while product-based companies offer quite good packages. Overall, placements are solid, but I wish more top product-based companies visited the campus. I would rate placements 4/5.

Infrastructure: The college has some really impressive labs like the Nvidia Lab, 3D Printing Lab, Semiconductor Lab, and many more. Not every college has these facilities, so it is actually impressive. The Wi-Fi uses Galgotias Aruba and covers the entire campus. Even each classroom has its own connection, so internet access is never a problem. The hostel is decent, not luxurious, but comfortable enough. Mess food is average. Some days it is good and some days not, but the canteen is always available. Sports facilities are also decent. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the infrastructure and would rate it 4/5.

Faculty: All professors are highly qualified. They know their subjects very well. Initially, the exams feel tough, but students get used to them after one or two semesters. Curriculum is based on active learning. It makes classes more engaging than simply sitting and listening to lectures. It follows a practical approach. It prepares students better for the industry compared to many other universities. It feels like students are actually learning useful things instead of only studying to pass exams. I would rate faculty and curriculum 5/5.

Other: I am from the 2024 CS batch. I chose this college because, after IITs and NITs. It provides some of the best exposure at a reasonable fee. Uni-fest and Techfest are amazing. Clubs are very active. I also serve as the head of the Robotics Club. There are plenty of opportunities for students. The only improvement I would suggest is bringing more top companies for placements. Overall, the college is totally worth it.

Great infrastructure and placements with a vibrant campus culture with endless opportunities.

Placements: The highest package recorded is 60 LPA with numerous offers ranging from 15 LPA to 26 LPA. The average placement package generally ranges between 4 LPA and 6 LPA. 3000 plus offers reported for 2026. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Cognizant, HCL, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms have AC and Wi-Fi. The university has many labs that will enhance your practical knowledge. It has Drone lab, Nvidia Lab, and many more labs. The quality of the university hostel is very good compared to other hostels. It provides security to the students, quality food, a gym, indoor/outdoor games, and a library.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. They provide you with all the things related to your subject whenever you need. Faculty members in Galgotias University are very qualified most of whom are from IIT. If you follow the faculty and university guidelines then it will surely make you industry-ready. End-semester exams are not very difficult for those who study regularly. The passing percentage is 33 percent.

Other: I chose this course because I have a very strong interest in tech. Galgotias University provides a lot of exposure related to tech. So I decided to join Galgotias University for my B.Tech course.
