Good infrastructure and provides an average package of 5 LPA.
Placements: About 80 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 60 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc. Top roles are AI Engineer and Data Scientist. 99 percent of students got the virtual internship but about 10 percent got an offline internship.
Infrastructure: There are excellent labs and good infrastructure. The hostel is good but one of the warden is very rude but our Ramveer warden is good. The medical facility of the hostel is very bad. There are two ambulances in the hostel premises but no one has diesel in them so in an emergency the hostel facility is very bad. The library is the largest library in North India with good infrastructure and it is double-decker with full air conditioning and high Wi-Fi speed.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. The course curriculum is good. Active learning is experienced. Semester exams are easy but for students who study at least one night before the exam.
Other: Fests are good. The university gives scholarships to UP students.

All pros and cons of Galgotais university.
Placements: About 90% of eligible students get an average placement of about 6-7 LPA. The highest package for the 2027 batch is at 60 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Capgemini, HCL, Microsoft, and Apple hire students from Galgotias University. Virtual internships are provided to every student in B.Tech. As for walk-in internships, there are always some kind of programs going on on campus which can lead to internships, and in many cases, PPO.
Infrastructure: The biggest positive, in my opinion, about the new AI and Data Science building is digital classrooms with full campus Wi-Fi coverage. There is also a huge variety of labs, like the fabrication lab, drone lab, and electrical circuits lab. Recently, we also got an NVIDIA supercomputer, which allows students to get exposure to technology we never could on our own. The food at the canteen and mess is hygienic and edible. It's not restaurant quality, but it's not incredible, either. There are multiple 24/7 first aid facilities on campus. There is a basic gym in the hostel premises, as well as multiple game courts, such as badminton.
Faculty: Most teachers at Galgotias University are appropriately qualified. There are some outliers, but most of them are helpful. The new hands-on, active learning curriculum is based on industry requirements, so it's great to have. Semester examinations are above average in terms of difficulty, but scoring high can also lead to a small scholarship from the college. The pass percentage for practical and theory combined is at 40%.
Other: Galgotias University has a huge and very active student body named Galgotias Student Council, which contains more than 30 clubs from all fields, like tech, cultural, gaming, designing, etc. This gives exposure to different skills for students. Galgotias University also hosts the biggest fest in the north, known as Unifest, which is a 3-day fest where the first day is tech-oriented and the other two are cultural, with awesome artists like Raftaar, Darshan Raval, and the Suliman Brothers having performed.

Consider this only if no other options remain.
Placements: In 2025, the average package was about 6LPA, with 39 LPA as the highest package. Students who are serious about their career and future get placed, others might struggle. College tends to collaborate with various MNCs and organisations. Helps students and provides support for placement. The problem is the number of students, due to which the competition is high.
Infrastructure: The AI and DS building is remarkable with modern infrastructure. Still under construction sometimes, but overall modern infrastructure and tech like contactless taps, washrooms, and motion-detected lights, etc., but other blocks aren't as modern. Block C is also a very good block, A and B are average.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but some teachers just read PPTs and leave. Some teachers are also good with their teaching techniques and engagement with students. Course curriculum is relevant to digital electronics, BEE, EDP, CBM, etc., as the subjects. They also provided a course for Generative AI and Google cloud which is useful.
Other: If there's no option left, this can be a safe option, but do consider other options first. The campus is very crowded sometimes there's no place to stand in certain areas. Events and fests are good most of the time, and celebrities also visit from time to time if you are into that.

I prefer choosing this university. Overall, it is a very good.
Placements: At least 70–75% of students are placed each year, and placement also depends on your skills. No matter where you are, you should always improve your skills because, in the end, skills matter the most. The average package is 8 LPA. The top roles offered are Software Developer, Data Scientist, AI Engineer, and Web/App Developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are several labs like the Cisco Lab, Wipro Lab, Semiconductor Lab, Drone Simulation Lab, and many more. There is also an iOS Development Centre. A specific block named AI is available for B.Tech students. High-tech laboratories are also present.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and supportive. Semester exams are easy if students attend regular classes and remain consistent. As a B.Tech student at Galgotias University, maintaining a good CGPA is not very difficult. The environment is moderately competitive. But an average student can manage well with regular studies.
Other: I chose it because I have a keen interest in technical fields, such as coding and web design.

My honest experience at Galgotia University.
Placements: Placements in our CS/IT batch are pretty good, with around 75–90% of students getting placed. The placement cell works hard to bring companies and also helps students with mock interviews and resume building. Recruiters from decent IT and tech companies offer roles like Software Developer and Data Analyst. Some students also get internships in their 3rd year, which later convert into full-time offers. Packages vary. Service-based companies offer lower packages, while product-based companies offer quite good packages. Overall, placements are solid, but I wish more top product-based companies visited the campus. I would rate placements 4/5.
Infrastructure: The college has some really impressive labs like the Nvidia Lab, 3D Printing Lab, Semiconductor Lab, and many more. Not every college has these facilities, so it is actually impressive. The Wi-Fi uses Galgotias Aruba and covers the entire campus. Even each classroom has its own connection, so internet access is never a problem. The hostel is decent, not luxurious, but comfortable enough. Mess food is average. Some days it is good and some days not, but the canteen is always available. Sports facilities are also decent. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the infrastructure and would rate it 4/5.
Faculty: All professors are highly qualified. They know their subjects very well. Initially, the exams feel tough, but students get used to them after one or two semesters. Curriculum is based on active learning. It makes classes more engaging than simply sitting and listening to lectures. It follows a practical approach. It prepares students better for the industry compared to many other universities. It feels like students are actually learning useful things instead of only studying to pass exams. I would rate faculty and curriculum 5/5.
Other: I am from the 2024 CS batch. I chose this college because, after IITs and NITs. It provides some of the best exposure at a reasonable fee. Uni-fest and Techfest are amazing. Clubs are very active. I also serve as the head of the Robotics Club. There are plenty of opportunities for students. The only improvement I would suggest is bringing more top companies for placements. Overall, the college is totally worth it.

Average placements, excellent infrastructure, and a need for curriculum update.
Placements: Galgotias University class of 2023 - 2024 achieved 98% but the majority are mass recruiting companies. With over 900 companies visiting campus and more than 4000 offers extended, but the number of students is also high here. The highest package reached 39 LPA (2024), while the average package remained 5.25 LPA to 5.45 LPA. Leading recruiters included Amazon, Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, which selected 19.45 LPA. 2 female students are recruited for the SDE role in Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, KPMG, etc. If you are getting into any 3-tier college, it's a game of skill.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Galgotias University is excellent. You can get Wi-Fi all over there, classrooms are world-class, AC is available all over, and the library of the AI block is just amazing. The quality of food in the canteen is good, and hostel food is the same as every other hostel's food. In short, infrastructure is excellent.
Faculty: Galgotias University has many experienced professors providing good lectures. However, some instructors still need to refine their teaching methods. The curriculum is slightly improved over AKTU's, but it remains largely outdated, as we know the Indian education system is just trash.

Placements: The highest package recorded is 60 LPA with numerous offers ranging from 15 LPA to 26 LPA. The average placement package generally ranges between 4 LPA and 6 LPA. 3000 plus offers reported for 2026. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Cognizant, HCL, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms have AC and Wi-Fi. The university has many labs that will enhance your practical knowledge. It has Drone lab, Nvidia Lab, and many more labs. The quality of the university hostel is very good compared to other hostels. It provides security to the students, quality food, a gym, indoor/outdoor games, and a library.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. They provide you with all the things related to your subject whenever you need. Faculty members in Galgotias University are very qualified most of whom are from IIT. If you follow the faculty and university guidelines then it will surely make you industry-ready. End-semester exams are not very difficult for those who study regularly. The passing percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I have a very strong interest in tech. Galgotias University provides a lot of exposure related to tech. So I decided to join Galgotias University for my B.Tech course.

Good infrastructure, average placements, and your result depends on how seriously you work.
Placements: I am a third-year B.Tech CSE student and placements are still going on for my batch. Based on seniors' data around 70 to 80 percent of students got placed if they stay consistent with skills and preparation. The highest package goes around 30 to 40 LPA while the average is about 4 LPA to 6 LPA and the lowest is around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Josh Technology Group, Infosys, Fidelity Investment, HCLTech, JPMorgan Chase, and Microsoft along with many others. Internship opportunities are decent but many students still apply off-campus. Common roles offered are software developer, analyst, and support roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Galgotias University is good with modern G-Scale classrooms where teachers interact directly using smart screens. Labs are well-equipped including 3D printing, NVIDIA, and stock market labs. The library is one of the best I have seen. Hostel facilities are decent with Wi-Fi security and cleaning. Food is average and sometimes repetitive. Medical and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Faculty at Galgotias University are generally helpful and qualified. In classrooms many teachers are quite interactive and explain topics in detail which makes concepts easier to understand though it still depends on the teacher. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but not fully industry-ready so students have to work on coding projects and internships on their own. Exams are not very difficult if you study regularly and most students pass with basic preparation.
Other: Galgotias University provides good infrastructure exposure and opportunities but the overall value depends on how much effort a student puts in. If you actively work on projects, internships and take part in clubs then it is worth it otherwise relying only on college is not enough. Campus life at Galgotias University is active with regular events, fests, and club activities. The campus is in Greater Noida so connectivity is good and easily accessible.
