Best infrastructure, good placements, not too crowded, big and fun events, and celebrities.

Placements: The percentage of students placed is relatively even. Last year, comparatively a good portion of students were placed into good companies with an average package of 6-8 LPA. Some of the highest ones include 15 LPA. Variety in recruiting companies can be seen over the past years. Some big ones include Oracle, Infosys, etc. Overall, if you study hard and try to study company-specific placement-oriented programs and all, then yes, it’s very likely you will get placed. Almost a good percentage, like 15-20%, got placed in some packages, and others also in decent ones. Top roles include product manager.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best part of the university. India's first Hands-on smart and active learning platform and classrooms with built-in Display (TV) in each class. The campus area is a little congested, but the food is healthy and hygienic, and okay in taste. There are medical facilities, an ATM, and canteens at affordable prices with delicious foods, regional foods, and drinks. With an all-purpose general departmental store for the students, stationery at each block, washrooms at each floor which are clean, 3-4 big playgrounds for activities like cricket, basketball, football, etc.

Faculty: Teachers over 90% are seemingly very deeply knowledgeable in their respective fields and seem to teach pretty well. The teaching aspect is quite engaging with the students. Specific doubt sessions are conducted for students' doubts. Students are provided with each faculty member's numbers and emails for further doubt-solving issues. The curriculum is relevant and even up-to-date with the latest technology involved in teaching. If the students pay attention in the classes, then yes, they will get a deep understanding of what the industry wants and how to reach the goals. The semester exams are of a moderate level.

Other: Doing B.Tech was my choice, and I was interested in Computer Science. The best thing is the engagement from the teachers' side and the labs where we apply the theory in practical use. The events are the best thing about the university, with many famous and big celebrities already coming to the campus. Buses and other public transport are always available nearby for easy transport. A lot of opportunities for students to avail scholarships.

Good college to graduate from here.

Placements: 78% of students are placed in my course, from those placed students 18 LPA is the highest package. The lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is somewhere between 6 LPA - 7.5 LPA. KPIT is the top recruiting company in the course. 80% of students got their internships in my course at Deloitte and TCS. The role offered is client.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my course are just exceptionally well, and there's no concern with that. You can use Wi-Fi any time. Library is also free, whenever you get the opportunity to visit. Classrooms are also air-conditioned. Labs are available for practical. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is acceptable. Medical facilities are very good. There are so many sports to play.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is so good. The course curriculum is relevant. It prepares the students for their skills-related work. Semester exams are not too difficult to pass out, it's easy to clear by studying 3-4 hours after college time, which is more than enough. The pass percentage is 80%.

Other: Events and fests are organised every 3-4 months. Campus crowd is also good. Connectivity is so good on the campus surroundings. Extracurricular activities are also happening. The things that would have been better in this course are that the competition could have been more.

B.Tech at Galgotias University.

Placements: I was enrolled in B.Tech CSE (core) in the year 2023. At that time, there were 60 sections of B.Tech in the university, and each section consisted of a minimum of 55 students, making it clear that the crowd is immense here. This results in huge competition for good package placements on campus at the university. Many highly reputed companies come here every year with very high packages. So, if you have the potential to stand out from the crowd, then you are welcome at Galgotias University. If not, then 2-5 lakh packages are waiting for you (with decent academics).

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty decent. There are a total of 4 operation blocks right now, and another one is about to go into operation from this year onwards. The classroom ACs and lab computers are a matter of issue sometimes, but otherwise, it's fine. The boys' hostel is situated on the campus itself, but the girls' hostel is located at Galgotias College. I've been living outside the college hostel, so as far as I've heard, the food is terrible at the college hostel. Otherwise, the facilities are average, and security is very high, but it costs a huge amount.

Faculty: The faculty are highly educated, mostly from IITs and other reputed institutions. But being college students, we rely mostly on self-study. The course is very easily designed and doesn't require much effort, so you can catch up with other courses very effectively if you want. There are Mid Terms, End Terms, and Internal Assessments.

Other: Being a private institute, Galgotias has a very easy curriculum and exam pattern (mostly the questions are repeated as they are), so most students pass with high grades. They also try their best to ensure that most students get placed.

My honest review of my college.

Placements: About 60 to 75% of the students at our university were enrolled in our B.Tech programme. Highest compensation is approximately 49 LPA. Lowest annual pay is 5 Lacs. Average annual wage is 7.5 Lacs. Top employers for our course include Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. About 90% of the students who took our course were able to secure internships with Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and LG.

Infrastructure: Our university has built a brand-new, completely AI & DS block, free internet is available everywhere, and the largest library in the Northeast is air-conditioned and well-maintained. Our hostel has great facilities, including free Wi-Fi, free drinking water, delicious food, and free medical care for students.

Faculty: Teachers at our university are highly helpful and they are very supportive, competent, and they assist students in developing their skills. Additionally, the university administers two exams each semester, midterm and semester-end exams, with a 40% passing score.

College is overall average. Faculty members are good but the management is not going.

Placements: Placements are below average. Galgotias University provides good placements but to other courses related to business and sales. It is good for MBA, BBA, and other courses like law but not that good for B.Tech. You can only take admission to B.Tech if you want to take a degree only.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well and they are still developing the campus. Campus is not that big but overall good. Cafeteria is good and big grounds are there. Blocks are good and they always keep that clean and well. Classes are also good.

Faculty: Faculty members are well at teaching. They are friendly with students but the management of this college is too bad, very disappointing. Teachers are good and they are educated too. They have a great knowledge as they all are qualified from good colleges like NIT and IIT.

Other: They conduct the fest and here a lot of celebrities also come for movie promotions.
