Life at Galgotias University.
Placements: The eligibility criteria for placements on campus are 7 CPGA. The students should not have any active backlogs/debarred. The highest package is 60 LPA meanwhile, the average package is 5.1 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., come to the college.
Infrastructure: The classrooms in our college are smart classes and they follow active learning in order to make studying efficient. There is an on-campus boys-only hostel within the university premises and an off-campus girls' hostel in GCET. The services and food in the hostel are above average.
Faculty: Our faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They help students in projects and guide them whenever they want. They solve all the doubts of the students after class. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready, as our university provides multiple labs like the Nvidia lab which helps students get hands-on experience.
Other: The university has a high industry reputation and is well known for its events, collaborations, and tech communities. I chose this course because I had a keen interest in AIML and I wanted to do coding. The university organises many fests like cultural fests, technical fests, and many hackathons.

Good campus life with decent placements and infrastructure.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. Placements are decent, but getting a good package depends a lot on your skills and preparation. Many service-based companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini visit the campus, while a few product-based companies also hire students. The college provides placement support, but students should focus on coding, projects, and internships on their own to get better opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the better aspects of university. Classrooms are spacious and have smart boards, computer labs are well maintained, and Wi-Fi is available in most academic areas. The library has enough books and study space. Hostel rooms are decent, while the mess food is average. Sports facilities, a gym, and medical support are available on campus.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very supportive and knowledgeable, while others mainly stick to completing the syllabus. The curriculum covers the basics well, but it is not enough to make students industry-ready by itself. Semester exams are not very difficult if you attend classes and study regularly. Most students are able to pass without much difficulty.

Excellent university that focuses on the all-round development of students.
Placements: Placement percentage is 84 percent. The highest package is 60 LPA. The average placement package is 5.1 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Capgemini, LTI Mindtree, Cognizant, Accenture, National Instruments, Josh Technology, and J.P. Morgan. It provides key roles Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top notch, with a library and round-table classrooms. It encourages students to participate more in class. There are specialized labs like the iOS Lab, NVIDIA Lab, and Data Science Lab to help students become placement-ready. The hostel provides hygienic food. It also has a medical room, gym, and various activity rooms like a TV room, pool room, table tennis, squash, and many more.
Faculty: Professors are highly helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with excellent teaching qualifications and experience. All courses and subjects in the semesters are designed in a way that students do not face difficulties. Advanced concepts are introduced gradually. This helps students develop critical thinking and become industry-ready.

Really good college for B.Tech CSE, great placements, and infrastructure, worth it.
Placements: I am in B.Tech CSE 2nd year but from what I have seen so far placements are very good. Many students got internships and some are already placed. The highest package is around 12 LPA and the average is 5 LPA-6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infy, Wipro, and many other companies hire from here. Teachers help a lot and the training is good. I think 70 percent of students got placed. Internship rate is around 50 percent. Roles are SDE, QA, and data analyst. Overall placements are great.
Infrastructure: Campus is big and nice. Labs are good for CSE, we have big servers, and Wi-Fi is everywhere on campus. Classrooms are clean and have projectors. The library is open till 9:00 PM and has good books. Hostel food is average but the mess is clean. Rooms are single or double, have a fan, bed, and coolers too along with AC/non-AC options. Medical help is available and the sports ground is nice. Overall the infrastructure is really good for studying.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and know their stuff. They explain well and give notes. The CSE syllabus is updated. Exams are not too hard and not too easy, at a proper level such that if a student studies the bare minimum then he can pass it. The pass percentage is 90 percent. We get project work and it helps us learn. Some teachers are a little strict but they are good. The curriculum is good for CSE. Overall faculty and curriculum are excellent.
Other: I chose this university because of its good reputation and placement records. The best thing is the faculty and infrastructure. The only thing I wish for is more internship opportunities. Events are very fun and the campus is lively.

It's a cool college, you can join if you want. Events are not great. Sports are good.
Placements: I am still in the second semester so I don't know much about how many got placed. When I was taking admission I was informed that there is 80-90 percent placement. The highest package is more than a crore and lowest is around 4 LPA-5 LPA and it also ensures that every student is involved in internships.
Infrastructure: Everything apart infrastructure is really good. There are 4 buildings AI block, A, B, and C. AI block is really good A, B, and C blocks are also good but AI block is super cool. There is AC and Wi-Fi in every block. The library is also great. I do not live in hostel so I don't know much about it.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful for everything. I didn't give my IA 1 as I was ill, BUT all my teachers helped me in every way. So I can get some passing marks. Students here are industry-ready. I am in the first year, and they are preparing students for interviews
Other: I wanted to do B.Tech., so I chose this course. Everything is cool but if I could change something I would like college to change the timings either too early or too late.

Good infrastructure and provides an average package of 5 LPA.
Placements: About 80 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 60 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc. Top roles are AI Engineer and Data Scientist. 99 percent of students got the virtual internship but about 10 percent got an offline internship.
Infrastructure: There are excellent labs and good infrastructure. The hostel is good but one of the warden is very rude but our Ramveer warden is good. The medical facility of the hostel is very bad. There are two ambulances in the hostel premises but no one has diesel in them so in an emergency the hostel facility is very bad. The library is the largest library in North India with good infrastructure and it is double-decker with full air conditioning and high Wi-Fi speed.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. The course curriculum is good. Active learning is experienced. Semester exams are easy but for students who study at least one night before the exam.
Other: Fests are good. The university gives scholarships to UP students.

All pros and cons of Galgotais university.
Placements: About 90% of eligible students get an average placement of about 6-7 LPA. The highest package for the 2027 batch is at 60 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Capgemini, HCL, Microsoft, and Apple hire students from Galgotias University. Virtual internships are provided to every student in B.Tech. As for walk-in internships, there are always some kind of programs going on on campus which can lead to internships, and in many cases, PPO.
Infrastructure: The biggest positive, in my opinion, about the new AI and Data Science building is digital classrooms with full campus Wi-Fi coverage. There is also a huge variety of labs, like the fabrication lab, drone lab, and electrical circuits lab. Recently, we also got an NVIDIA supercomputer, which allows students to get exposure to technology we never could on our own. The food at the canteen and mess is hygienic and edible. It's not restaurant quality, but it's not incredible, either. There are multiple 24/7 first aid facilities on campus. There is a basic gym in the hostel premises, as well as multiple game courts, such as badminton.
Faculty: Most teachers at Galgotias University are appropriately qualified. There are some outliers, but most of them are helpful. The new hands-on, active learning curriculum is based on industry requirements, so it's great to have. Semester examinations are above average in terms of difficulty, but scoring high can also lead to a small scholarship from the college. The pass percentage for practical and theory combined is at 40%.
Other: Galgotias University has a huge and very active student body named Galgotias Student Council, which contains more than 30 clubs from all fields, like tech, cultural, gaming, designing, etc. This gives exposure to different skills for students. Galgotias University also hosts the biggest fest in the north, known as Unifest, which is a 3-day fest where the first day is tech-oriented and the other two are cultural, with awesome artists like Raftaar, Darshan Raval, and the Suliman Brothers having performed.

I prefer choosing this university. Overall, it is a very good.
Placements: At least 70–75% of students are placed each year, and placement also depends on your skills. No matter where you are, you should always improve your skills because, in the end, skills matter the most. The average package is 8 LPA. The top roles offered are Software Developer, Data Scientist, AI Engineer, and Web/App Developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are several labs like the Cisco Lab, Wipro Lab, Semiconductor Lab, Drone Simulation Lab, and many more. There is also an iOS Development Centre. A specific block named AI is available for B.Tech students. High-tech laboratories are also present.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and supportive. Semester exams are easy if students attend regular classes and remain consistent. As a B.Tech student at Galgotias University, maintaining a good CGPA is not very difficult. The environment is moderately competitive. But an average student can manage well with regular studies.
Other: I chose it because I have a keen interest in technical fields, such as coding and web design.

From what I’ve seen, the response seems generally positive but it’s still quite new, so it’s too early to judge the actual impact on placements. The collaboration is expected to add industry-led content, projects, virtual labs, expert interaction and career-readiness support at Galgotias University.

They can be quite helpful because workshops and practical sessions give students exposure beyond textbook theory. They help with hands-on learning, new tools, projects and industry-related concepts. The benefit is even greater when students actively participate and practise the skills afterwards.
