Some detailed information about Galgotias University.

Placements: They are just taking admissions to bring a crowd to the college, just to look good. The record of placements is getting smaller with each passing year. If you want a placement, then go ahead and get it on your own. It feels like everyone just wants to pass the time.

Infrastructure: The facilities are quite okay. Most of the systems do not work in the labs. Even though the Wi-Fi is so slow, nothing works properly here. The library is quite good. Rest assured, the quality of the food in the hostel is total gross so please do not go to the hostels.

Faculty: There is a 50-50 ratio between the teachers—those who want the students to study—and those who themselves don't know what the course is. It depends if you are lucky enough to get a good professor; otherwise, the subject is dusted for sure. The passing percentage is 33%.

Other: I wish that the course needs to be improved, as I took gaming classes, but till now they have taught us anything regarding gaming and not even introduced the topic. On fests it totally depends on you whether you want to get thrashed or not.

Our college has helpful teachers.

Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies, like Wipro, Amazon, etc., visited our campus. Placements are difficult to find. You must work hard to achieve your dreams. Top roles offered were data analyst and business analyst.

Infrastructure: Our college provided excellent infrastructure. Labs were well-equipped. Air-conditioners were available in classrooms. Hostels were average. The quality of the food in the hostel was good. The university was improving day by day.

Faculty: Our teachers were helpful. The course curriculum was a bit hectic, but it was good. Semester exams were good. Exams were abundant in our course. They are conducted frequently to check students' progress.

Other: Data analytics is a growing sector. I chose this course because of my interest in it. Extracurricular activities were held. Fests were very popular. You must go for it if you want a perfect Bollywood college lifestyle.

I am satisfied with our college but it needs some improvement.

Placements: Our college is good for students seeking average placements. Our college management provides a good number of opportunities for you in mass recruitment companies. If you work hard and put extra effort into college, you can get jobs at companies like Microsoft and Amazon too.

Infrastructure: The university has a quality infrastructure in the computer science and engineering department. It has top-quality classrooms. The cafeteria is good. The whole university is Wi-Fi enabled. You will find almost all sorts of sports for seniors, which will surely help you.

Faculty: Our teachers are good and qualified. They teach you in a way that makes an impact on society which is a good thing. You get a lot of practical knowledge. Mid-semester exams and semester exams are easy. If you learn the basics, you can score easily.

Placements: Placemens at Galgotias University are average. About 85%of students were placed in B.Tech CSE. The highest salary package offered is 34 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies in B.Tech are Amazon, Azilen, Wipro, Microsoft, etc. The top role offered in B.Tech CSE is a software engineer.

The university is decent, but I would prefer to go to better colleges if you have higher marks.

Placements: Placements are the only thing that will make you take admission here. The placements are good enough. The average placement is 6.5 LPA. The highest salary package is 40 LPA. A student got 32 LPA last time. You just have to maintain a good CGPA, i. e. a minimum of 8 CGPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. There are four blocks: A, B, C, D, and a hostel. There is a hockey ground, a football ground, a basketball court, a music room, a dance room, and martial arts. The hostel is average, but it's better to stay outside. The hostel's advantage is that it is just beside the university, so you can go to classes on time.

Faculty: Some faculty members are good, and some are not. You have to depend on self-study because the exams are more and the classes are fewer. IA will happen every week. CAT will happen every month and then ETE. The curriculum is easy if you study hard, otherwise, being back in a subject is normal here.

Overall, this is a good college to enjoy your college life and get good placements as well.

Placements: The placements are very good as many famous companies come to the campus, and also, the starting packages are great. The campus placements are good as even during the pandemic, the placements of our university were very good with good packages. Almost all students got placed during the pandemic.

Infrastructure: Everything about computer science is good, but the crowd is not very good. The crowd is too high, so there isn't much space in the university. There is 2 big libraries in 2 blocks. There are a total of 4 blocks, A, B, C and D. The hostel is not very good, and the food is tasteless.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and supportive. Most of the teachers are from the south region and are very good. But there are also some teachers who are not so good and helpful. They are just mean to students and don't help them in their needs. But overall, the teachers are good at teaching.

The college has good placements so definitely recommended.

Placements: Companies visit our campus and recruit most of the students of our university. Thus placements are very good in the university and best in computer science branch. Most of the companies pay the best to the students and the ones with the higher salary packages require professional competence at their peak.

Infrastructure: Buildings on campus are not well-maintained and the air-conditioners are not provided. But in the brochure, it had it as fully air-conditioned buildings. Most of the students take classes in the ISC block which is not well-maintained and has poor infrastructure and also the Wi-Fi connectivity is not good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified and their teaching quality is too good. The course curriculum is totally related to industrial work and makes students capable to work in industries. Semester exams conducted in college are quite challenging if you are not well prepared and the passing percentage is 30%.

Placements: Placements in our college depend on the capabilities of the students. But most of the students get the role of a senior software engineer or tech lead with an average salary package of 8 LPA. The best company like Apple also visit our college for placements. One can also get the post of manager in some top companies like Amazon and Microsoft.

Infrastructure: The courses in our college have a vast range of subjects and so they have a large variety of lab classes. The classrooms are good and well-maintained. The college has the best hostel rooms and food, 2 sitter rooms with individual routers, gaming room with play station, other indoor games, and other activities. Washrooms are good for everyone. Best medical support is provided by our college.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very helpful. They understand the problems of the students and help them. Exams conducted are not so difficult.
